Higher Risk Employees. Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19 as that term is defined by the Governor’s proclamation may choose to come to work at a District work site when required by the employee’s assignment or may choose to access any or all of the following benefits under the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA) or law:
i. Alternative assignment for work/services which may be provided from home, if available;
ii. EPSL with supplementation up to the employee’s regular daily salary if the employee’s salary exceeds the statutory EPSL cap ($511/day) by other paid leaves identified below;
iii. Leave for illness, injury or emergency;
iv. Personal leave;
v. Unpaid leave of absence for the duration of the COVID19 pandemic crisis; and
vi. Unemployment benefits.
Higher Risk Employees. Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19 as that term is defined by the Governor’s proclamation may choose to come to work at a District work site when required by the employee’s assignment or may choose to access any or all of the following benefits as legally applicable under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) or law:
1. An accommodation to work remotely shall be provided if the essential functions in the job description for the employee are able to be performed remotely (see paragraph I below);
Higher Risk Employees. 25 Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19 [as that term is 26 defined by the Governor's proclamation] may choose to come to work at a District work site 27 when required by the employee's assignment or may choose to access any or all of the 28 following benefits under the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA) or 29 law:
30 a. Alternative assignment for work/services which may be provided from home, if 31 available (see paragraphs 10-11 below). 32 b. ESPL.
Higher Risk Employees. Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19 as that term is defined by the Governor’s proclamation may choose to come to work at a District work site when required by the employee’s assignment or may access any or all of the following benefits under the CBA or law:
4.4.1 Alternative assignment for work/services which may be provided from home, if available (see Section 4.10 below);
4.4.2 EPSL with supplementation up to the employee’s regular daily salary if the employee’s salary exceeds the statutory EPSL cap ($511/day) by other paid leaves identified below;
4.4.3 Sick Leave;
Higher Risk Employees. Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19 as that term is defined by the Governor’s proclamation may choose to come to work at a District work site when required by the employee’s assignment or may access any or all of the following benefits under the CBA or law:
5.4.1 Alternative assignment for work/services which may be provided from home, if available (see Section 5.10 below);
5.4.2 EPSL with supplementation up to the employee’s regular daily salary if the employee’s salary exceeds the statutory EPSL cap ($511/day) by other paid leaves identified below;
5.4.3 Sick Leave;
5.4.4 Discretionary Personal leave;
5.4.5 Unpaid leave of absence for the 2020-21 school year; and
5.4.6 Unemployment benefits.
Higher Risk Employees. 32 Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19, as that term is 33 defined by the Governor’s Proclamation 20-46.2 or a subsequent, binding proclamation, may 34 choose to come to work at a District worksite when required by the employee’s assignment 35 or may choose to access any or all of the following benefits under the terms of the CBA or 36 law:
37 a. Alternative work assignment determined by the District that may be performed from 38 home, if available (see Section E, below).
39 b. EPSL with supplementation up to the employee’s regular daily salary if the 40 employee’s salary exceeds the statutory EPSL cap ($511 per day) by other paid leaves 41 identified in this section, below.
42 c. Leave for illness, injury, or emergency (i.e., accrued paid sick leave).
43 d. Personal or vacation leave, if available.
44 e. Unpaid leave of absence.
45 f. Unemployment benefits if determined eligible by the Employment Security
Higher Risk Employees. Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from COVID- 19 as that term is defined by the Governor’s proclamation may choose to come to work at a District work site when required by the employee’s assignment or may choose to access any or all of the following benefits under the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA) or law:
i. Alternative assignment for work/services which may be provided from home, if available as described in this agreement, below (see paragraph 10 below) (See Article 2 above);
ii. EPSL (as defined above) with supplementation up to the employee’s regular daily salary if the employee’s salary exceeds the statutory EPSL cap ($511/day) by other paid leaves identified below;
iii. Leave for illness, injury or emergency;
iv. Personal leave;
v. Unpaid leave of absence for the 2020-21 school year; and
vi. Unemployment benefits.
Higher Risk Employees. Employees who are at higher risk of severe illness or death from 10 COVID-19 [as that term is defined by the Governor’s proclamation] and is following medical or 11 public health advice to self-quarantine, may be eligible to come to work at a District work site 12 when required by the employee’s assignment or may choose to access any or all of the following 13 benefits under the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and/or as 14 permitted by law, which, at the time of this agreement, include, without limitation, the following 15 (employees are directed to the Department of Employment Securities to apply for and for 16 questions about state and federal benefits):
17 a. Additional PPE provided or modifications to workspace considered.
18 b. EPSL with possible supplementation up to the employee’s regular daily salary if the 19 employee’s salary exceeds the statutory EPSL cap ($511/day) by other paid leaves 20 identified below;
21 c. Leave for illness, injury or emergency;
22 d. Personal leave and/or vacation leave after all other types of leaves have been exhausted
23 e. Unpaid leave of absence; and
24 f. Unemployment benefits. 25
