Holiday Pay Rates. Eligible employees shall be paid eight (8) hours holiday pay at their basic hourly wage rate applicable pursuant to Article 6, Wages, and as hereinafter provided, for each of the recognized holidays (listed in Section 1 above) not worked occurring or observed on Monday through Saturday inclusive. Employees whose shift begins the day preceding a holiday and extends into the holiday shall be paid at the rate of pay in effect at the start of the shift and overtime worked shall be paid at double-time (2x) that rate.

Holiday Pay Rates. Double time shall be paid for Sundays and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day or days celebrated as such. It is further agreed that no employee shall do any work on the first Monday in September, Labor Day, except to preserve life or property.
Holiday Pay Rates. Employees who are required to work on a holiday shall be paid twice the regular rate of pay for the hours actually worked, in addition to the regular holiday pay.

  • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.

  • Holiday Premium Pay A Nurse working on a recognized Holiday is entitled to the following compensation for any hours worked on the calendar date of the recognized Holiday:

  • Holiday Pay Eligibility ‌ In order to be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must be in a pay status on the last regularly scheduled working day immediately before or on the first regularly scheduled day immediately after the holiday (§ 2-18-603, Mont. Code Xxx.). If a new employee or an employee returning from inactive status or layoff reports to work on a day following the holiday, the employee will not receive compensation for the holiday except as provided for in Section 7.

  • Holiday Week In the event that a holiday is celebrated during the week (Monday through Friday), the remaining four days of the week may be worked as a four ten shift at the straight time rate on a voluntary basis with three (3) days’ notice to the Union. In the event the job is down due to weather conditions, then Saturday may, at the option of the Employer be worked as a voluntary make-up day at the straight time rate.

  • BASE PAY RATE The employee's basic hourly rate exclusive of overtime premium, shift premium, stability or any other special allowances.
