INFORMAL - STEP ONE. When a cause for complaint occurs, the affected Employee(s)/Association shall within fifteen (15) working days request a meeting with his/her immediate supervisor or designee in an effort to resolve the complaint. The Association shall be notified and representative(s) thereof present with the Employee at such meeting. If the Employee is not satisfied with the result(s) of the meeting, or if the immediate supervisor or designee refused to provide such meeting, within five (5) working days of the request, he/she may formalize the complaint in writing and proceed to Step Two.

INFORMAL - STEP ONE. The parties hereto acknowledge that it is desirable for the employee and his or her immediate supervisor to resolve problems through free and informal communications. Such informal communication shall take place within fifteen (15) days of the event giving rise to the grievance. If such informal processes fail to satisfy the employee, a grievance must be filed in accordance with Formal Step One. Failure to do so constitutes a waiver of the right to file a grievance for the particular occurrence.

  • Informal Step As an informal step, the employee is encouraged to make an xxxxxxx effort to resolve the grievance directly with the management person to whom he reports. At his option, the employee may be accompanied by the Shop Xxxxxxx for the department in which the employee works.

  • Informal Dispute Resolution Process 1. In the event there is a dispute under this Centralized Contract, the Contractor, OGS and Authorized User agree to exercise their best efforts to resolve the dispute as soon as possible. The Contractor, OGS and Authorized User shall, without delay, continue to perform their respective obligations under this Centralized Contract which are not affected by the dispute. Primary responsibility for resolving any dispute arising under this Centralized Contract shall rest with the Authorized User’s Contractor Coordinators and the Contractor’s Account Executive and the State & Local Government Regional General Manager.

  • Informal Grievance The aggrieved employee or group of employees or a representative of the Union shall orally present the grievance to the employee's Supervisor or his/her designated representative within five (5) standard working days following the occurrence of events on which the grievance is based. The Supervisor shall give his/her answer within five (5) standard working days of the date of presentation of the grievance. Grievance settlements at the informal level shall set no precedents in any future MOU interpretation.
