INITIAL PLACEMENT ON THE SUPERVISOR I SALARY SCHEDULE. 1.01 An employee who is promoted from a position on the Teachers’ Salary Schedule to a position on the Supervisor I Salary Schedule will first have his/her annual salary determined in the appropriate grade of the Teachers’ Salary Schedule in accordance with existing regulations and then will be paid at the annual rate the appropriate salary grade on the Supervisor I Salary Schedule which would provide an approximate 10% increase but not more than 12.5% increase. The salary differential received by an employee for additional responsibility on the Teachers’ Salary Schedule (exclusive of differential pay earned as Specialist Reading Teacher, Mentor Teacher, extended-day, longevity or extended work year) will be allowed in determining the new salary placement on the Supervisor I Salary Schedule.
