Instructor Requirements. PROVIDER agrees that at all times each of its VPK instructor(s) and substitute instructor(s): a. Has provided documentation to be maintained in the files of PROVIDER and COALITION documenting that the individual has undergone a Level 2 background screening within the previous five (5) years in accordance with section 435.04, F.S., including a federal (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and state (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) screening which demonstrates that the individual is not ineligible to act as a VPK instructor; b. Is eligible to be employed as a VPK instructor in accordance with section 435.06, F.S.; c. Is not ineligible to teach in a public school because his or her educator certificate is suspended or revoked; d. Is qualified to act as a VPK instructor or substitute in accordance with sections 1002.55, 1002.61 and 1002.63, F.S.

Instructor Requirements. (i) Master’s degree in field of instruction; and (ii) Appropriate experience as determined by the Unit Manager in consultation with the Academic Supervisor.
Instructor Requirements. The Instructor agrees to perform the following necessary services: a. Attend annual instructor training workshops, provided by the College; b. Meet with College department liaison as scheduled; c. Adhere to the College course outline during all scheduled class meetings; d. Teach the Concurrent Enrollment Course or Courses selected by the College and District; e. Participate in ongoing collegial interactions to address course content, course delivery, assessment evaluation, and/or research and development in their chosen field; f. Complete all required paperwork, including syllabus submission and learning outcomes assessment; and g. Timely submit all grades and attendance records of students in the Concurrent Enrollment Course.
Instructor Requirements. Customer shall be responsible for advising Edgenuity of any special certification, training, background checks, insurance, fingerprinting or similar requirements for the Edgenuity Instructors as may be imposed by Applicable Law (“Instructor Requirements”). Edgenuity shall be solely responsible for all decisions regarding hiring, supervision, discipline, and dismissal of Edgenuity Instructors, and for ensuring that all Edgenuity Instructors meet and comply with Instructor Requirements.

Training Partnership has final approval over termination of instructors that facilitate Training Partnership classes. Contractor will not employ or hire instructors who have been terminated by the Training Partnership or other training contractors without final approval from the Training Partnership. c. Contractor will review with Training Partnership prior to using a subcontractor to deliver any Training Partnership classes. Training Partnership must approve all subcontractors and all Instructors must go through all Instructor requirements. d. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, Contractor will ensure that all Instructors abstain from reviewing, grading, or proctoring the Washington State Department of Health credentialing exam for Home Care Aides; provided, however, that nothing in this Section is meant to prohibit any Instructor from himself or herself taking such exam. e. Contractor will promptly notify Training Partnership of any failure by any Instructor to follow policies and requirements. f. For all Instructional Courses, all Instructors must: i. be approved by DSHS, which approval Contractor will be solely responsible for obtaining; ii. meet or exceed the minimum qualifications for instructors as listed in Section 000-00-0000 of the Washington Administrative Code; iii. be Registered Nurses with a current license for Nurse Delegation Courses iv. follow the policies set forth in the Agreement, including this Appendix 2, and, unless otherwise set forth in the Agreement, v. be able to use Microsoft Office applications, the internet, and software provided by the Training Partnership;

VPK Class Staffing. PROVIDER agrees to maintain proper staffing as required by VPK statutes. A properly credentialed instructor must be present for all VPK classes. For school-year classes that are composed of 12-20 children, an additional adult instructor must be present who is eligible to work in the VPK provider’s setting in accordance with sections 1002.55 and 1002.63, F.S. The VPK class size shall not exceed the approved capacity of the physical space where instruction is provided. Substitute Instructors. PROVIDER agrees that substitute instructors who meet the requirements of Rule 6M-8.410, F.A.C. may replace a lead VPK instructor, when the VPK lead instructor is not present at the facility. The time that any substitute instructors that do not meet the credentials of a lead instructor may replace a lead instructor is limited to 30 percent of the VPK Program’s total instructional hours in a VPK class. Prohibited Forms of Discipline. In accordance with s. 1002.55(5), F.S., PROVIDER agrees to implement minimum standards for child discipline practices that are age-appropriate and consistent with the requirements in s. 402.305(12), F.S. Such standards must provide that children not be subjected to discipline that is severe, humiliating or frightening. The discipline must not be associated with food, rest or toileting. Spanking or any other form of physical punishment is prohibited. Children may not be denied active play as a consequence of misbehavior. Statewide Information System. PROVIDER agrees to utilize the statewide information system as referenced in s. 1002.82(2)(n), F.S., to submit information and updates regarding th...

Instructor Requirements. 5.01 Instructors and Assistant/Substitute Instructors shall be required to fill out an application, shall be subject to a background investigation, and shall be required to execute “Consent to Release Information” and “Criminal Records Check and Screening” forms prior to the beginning of the program or prior to teaching or assisting with a class. 5.02 Instructors and Assistant/Substitute Instructors shall be subject to random background investigation and/or drug testing as determined by the City. 5.03 Assistant and Substitute Instructor’s salaries are the responsibility of the Instructor. 5.04 Instructor shall require any and all Assistant and Substitute Instructors to be bound in writing by the same terms and conditions as this agreement. A copy of this agreement shall be provided to the Supervisor. 5.05 Instructors shall have and maintain a written safety program which includes procedures and rules concerning all activities. Documents shall be provided upon request by the City. 5.06 Instructors shall keep a log of daily visual inspections of all contractor-owned equipment. Inspections shall be done by a trained/experienced Instructor or Substitute Instructor. Documents shall be provided upon request by the City. 5.07 Instructors shall maintain a written record of regularly scheduled maintenance on all contractor-owned equipment. Documents shall be provided upon request by the City. 5.08 Instructors shall maintain a ratio of students to instructors for overall activities of 10:1 or less. 5.09 Instructors shall provide and post rules for use of any contractor-owned trampolines or other rebound tumbling devices used at the Community Centers.

Instructor Requirements. 9.1 Each AT Package shall last for a period of 4 days from Tuesday to Friday of each week. 9.2 The Contractor shall be required to deliver up to 45 AT Packages each Training Year (April – March). The number of AT Packages is dependant upon the annual recruiting figures and cannot therefore be guaranteed. 9.3 The Contractor shall provide Instructors for the number of students attending the AT Package on a ratio 1:6. By exception and with prior approval of the Designated Officer, instructor ratios may be increased to 1:7. Final numbers of students will be promulgated the night before the AT Package due start date. 9.4 The Contractor shall provide a list of names of Instructors who will deliver the AT, to the Chief Instructor ITC (C) AT Wing or his Authorised Representative on the evening prior to the start of each AT Package.
