Intent of Contract. The intent of the Contract is to provide for completion of the work specified therein within the Contract Sum and time limit stated in the Contract. Further it is understood that the Contractor execute the Work under the Contract as an independent contractor and not as an agent of the County.

Intent of Contract. It is the intent of the parties that the provisions of this Contract shall serve as a means for a peaceful and orderly settlement of all disputes that may arise during the life of this Contract and that for its term it embodies the entire agreements of the parties in respect to all subjects bargained collectively. Nothing in this section shall prevent the board and the Association from reaching mutual understanding respecting these matters and as to the application or interpretation of any of the provisions of this Contract.

When an item in the Contract requires the XXXX Contractor to make a choice between more than one material, standard, procedure, or the like, the XXXX Contractor shall indicate the choice to CPRA’s Project Manager in writing. When the Contract, including the XXXX Contractor’s SOQ and/or plans or specifications, reference or require the use of manufacturer’s recommendations or specifications,” the XXXX Contractor shall provide CPRA’s Project Manager with a current copy of these recommendations or specifications.
