Inter-professional Health Building. Building on Xxxxx University’s identified strength in a broad spectrum of health and well-being disciplines, the University is looking to expand its academic, research and community impacts and, in doing so, to differentiate itself as a leader in specific areas of health and well-being education and research across a range of academic disciplines. Space constraints are limiting the University’s capacity to bring together and expand successful academic programs and to further develop community programs that provide unique health and wellness services to the people of Niagara. Limited space and outdated infrastructure are also restricting the University’s capacity to produce cutting-edge research that responds to the health and well-being needs of people in Niagara and beyond. A new health building, designed to provide additional and enhanced space for existing and planned university programs and community collaborations, will allow movement from inadequate and/or low quality current space and expansion of academic and community programming. A new health building will enhance and enable greater inter-professional education and interaction among health professions, including Nursing, Kinesiology, Public Health, Applied Disability Studies, Clinical Psychology, and other health related professional programs that currently exist or are in development at Xxxxx. It will be designed to facilitate transdisciplinary health research opportunities; expand unique experiential education opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students; and allow for the expansion of local, provincial and national partnerships. Furthermore, in response to rapidly growing demand for Xxxxx’x health-related community programs, the new health building will provide the much-needed space for Xxxxx to expand and grow its successful community health programming. In doing so, the new health building will be designed to not only promote inter-professional collaboration; but also, to bring together academic, research and community program activities in a single health hub. It will allow Xxxxx to expand its partnerships locally, provincially and nationally and encourage greater interaction with other academic institutions through new space in the hub for the Niagara Regional Campus of McMaster University’s Xxxxxxx X.   • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.
