Common use of Job Training Program Clause in Contracts

Job Training Program. (i) The Employer agrees, whenever practical, to provide an opportunity for employees to receive on-the-job training to facilitate qualifications for promotions. (ii) The Employer and the Union agree to establish a Joint Training Committee with two (2) members chosen by the Union and two (2) members of Management to determine areas of needs, areas where there is lack of coverage, or opportunities for permanent employees to receive training to facilitate qualifications for promotion. (iii) The Employer further agrees to establish a fund in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) annually, which will be allocated by the Employer based on the recommendation of the Committee.
