JURY SERVICE AND COURT APPEARANCES. Any teacher called for jury duty, subpoenaed to testify, or required to attend any judicial matter in which the employee is not a party of interest, shall suffer no loss of contractual benefit as it relates to pay, personal leave, or sick leave. Any jury duty payment made to the teacher, shall be remitted to the school district.

JURY SERVICE AND COURT APPEARANCES. An employee who is required to attend for Jury Service or to attend any court of law as a witness during their ordinary working hours will be granted paid leave for their ordinary hours of work. Paid leave is conditional upon production of a certificate from the court indicating attendance is required.
