Legal Gateways. Except as provided for in paragraph 28 below, the lawful basis for the Partners sharing the personal data covered by this DSA and for the Partners processing the data in the way described in this DSA is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller (Article 6(1)(e) of the UK GDPR). Legal Gateways. The Legal gateway(s) contained in Appendix A set out the basis on which the partners can share data for the provision of direct care across health and care services. The Health & Social Care (Safety & Quality) Act 2015, places a duty on organisations providing health and adult social care services to share data where it facilitates the provision of care to an individual in their best interests, unless the individual objects or it relates to an anonymous access service. This duty does not remove the need to comply with data protection legislation or common law confidentiality requirements.
Legal Gateways. All public sector organisations have legal powers for using data for purposes beyond the provision of direct care. However the following restrictions need to be noted:  Provider organisations – without further agreement can only use the personal data they hold in relation to their own service development.  Commissioning organisations – can use data related to the population that they cover. The legal powers of public sector organisations are set out in the NHS England Secondary Use Data Governance Tool (SUDGT) and can be accessed here: xxxxx://xxxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.xx/sudgt/activities#secondary-data-use-activities The CCG has wide ranging statutory functions it performs that require the use of data for those functions to be performed effectively. The PHM platform will provide the CCG with a richer source of data, where records have been robustly linked and de-identified than it has previously had access to. These functions can generally be supported by use of anonymised or pseudonymised data.
Legal Gateways. 2.3.1 S30(4) of the Gambling Xxx 0000 permits the provision of information received by the Commission in exercise of its functions to other parties for the purpose of a criminal investigation or criminal proceedings. 2.3.2 The legal gateway provided by S.30(4) does not override restrictions established by other Acts or common law and the further use or sharing of information provided by another body may be prohibited.

  • Virus Management DST shall maintain a malware protection program designed to deter malware infections, detect the presence of malware within DST environment.

  • Moonlighting Employment as a physician in a professional capacity outside of what is outlined in this Agreement, whether temporary special medical activity (“TSMA”) or external moonlighting, must be approved in writing, in advance, by the Departmental Chair, Program Director and Director of Graduate Medical Education (or designee). Even if approved, professional and general liability insurance as outlined in Section 5.4 is not provided to Trainee engaged in external moonlighting. Trainee acknowledges he or she has the responsibility to obtain insurance for such engagement. TSMA and external moonlighting must be included and reported as part of Trainee's hours spent on clinical experience and education. Trainee shall not be required to engage in any outside work.

  • Trunk Group Architecture and Traffic Routing 5.2.1 The Parties shall jointly establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks between CLEC and CBT by which they will jointly provide Tandem-transported Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic from and to CLEC's Customers. 5.2.2 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access and non-translated Toll Free traffic (e.g., 800/888) to allow CLEC’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier that is connected to the CBT access Tandem. 5.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be one-way or two-way trunks, as mutually agreed, connecting an End Office Switch that CLEC utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access Service in the given LATA to an access Tandem Switch CBT utilizes to provide Exchange Access in the LATA.

  • NON-NETWORK PROVIDER is a provider that has not entered into a contract with us or any other Blue Cross and Blue Shield plan. For pediatric dental care services, non-network provider is a dentist that has not entered into a contract with us or does not participate in the Dental Coast to Coast Network. For pediatric vision hardware services, a non-network provider is a provider that has not entered into a contract with EyeMed, our vision care service manager.

  • Connectivity User is solely responsible for providing and maintaining all necessary electronic communications with Exchange, including, wiring, computer hardware, software, communication line access, and networking devices.

  • Internet Connection Certain Solutions may require an active and stable connection to the Internet in order to function. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that you have at all times an active and stable Internet connection.

  • Help Desk A help desk for Product support issues (the “Help Desk”) will be available to Customer. Unless specified in an Order, Customer should contact 000.000.0000 to receive a telephone number for the applicable supporting Solutions & Support Center. Customer will appoint one Product administrator and one backup administrator to serve as the primary point of contact regarding maintenance services.

  • Host A host where SSH server is activated. A port where SSH server is activated, by default it is 22.

  • Workstation/Laptop encryption All workstations and laptops that process and/or store DHCS PHI or PI must be encrypted using a FIPS 140-2 certified algorithm which is 128bit or higher, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The encryption solution must be full disk unless approved by the DHCS Information Security Office.
