The school is obligated to take steps to insure that all resources are used legally, hence any illegal use of district resources is prohibited. All content created, sent, accessed or downloaded using any part of the district’s network and/or resources is subject to the rules stated in this policy. School administration monitors our network and/or resources and may find it necessary to investigate incidents even if they happen after hours and/or outside of school. As the owners of our network and/or resources, including the email system, the school administration reserves the right, if needed and at its discretion, to remotely access, open, examine and/or delete electronic files that violate District Policy.

(a) prevent user access over its computer to, or transmission of, inappropriate material via Internet, electronic mail, or other forms of direct electronic communications;
(b) prevent unauthorized access and other unlawful online activity;
(c) prevent unauthorized online disclosure, use, or dissemination of personal identification information of minors; and
(d) comply with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) [Pub. L. No. 106-554 and 47 US 254 (h)] Hence, any illegal use of network resource is prohibited. Network services refers to all aspects of DCSD’s owned or leased equipment, including computers, iPads, printers, scanners and other peripherals, Internet services, servers, network files and folders, and all other technology - related equipment and services. These rules apply to any use of DCSD’s network resources whether this access occurs while on or off the school premises. Computers provided in the Media Center and other computing centers located in the school building equipment are reserved exclusively for academic use and the Student is expected to follow all protocols established. Students will be financially responsible for any unauthorized commitments made through the Internet. Actions such as plagiarism, invasion of privacy, unauthorized access, violation of copyright laws as well as other illegal activities may be grounds for disciplinary and/or appropriate legal action

Hence any illegal use of Network Resources is prohibited. All content created, sent, accessed or downloaded using any part of ISNP's Network Resources is subject to the rules stated in this Agreement. School administration monitors our network and may find it necessary to investigate electronic incidents even if they happen after hours and outside of school. You are subject to school disciplinary action depending upon the nature of these incidents. As the owners of our Network Resources, including email system, ISNP reserves the right, if needed, and at its discretion, to remotely access, to open, examine, and/or delete electronic files that violate this Chromebook Use and Conduct Standards. Files stored on the Chromebook are not private and are subject to search.

School administration monitors the network and Devices and may find it necessary to investigate electronic incidents even if they occur outside of school hours. FCSD also reserves the right to electronically track Device location.

As the owners of our network resources, including the email system, the school administration reserves the right, if needed, and at its discretion, to remotely access to open, examine and/or delete electronic files that violate this 1:1 Device Use Policy.
