Level One - Superintendent of Schools. (a) If the administrator is not satisfied with the outcome of the informal procedures, he/she may present his/her claim as a written grievance to the Superintendent within twenty (20) days after he/she knew or should have known of the act or conditions on which the grievance is based.
(b) The Superintendent shall, within five (5) days after receipt of written grievance, render his/her decision in writing, stating that the grievance is either upheld or denied, with copies given to the Administrator and the President of the Association.
Level One - Superintendent of Schools. If the grievant is not satisfied with the outcome of the informal discussion of the grievance with his or her immediate supervisor, the grievant may submit the grievance in writing to the Superintendent. A grievance will be deemed waived if it is not submitted in writing to the Superintendent at this Level One within ten (10) days.
Level One - Superintendent of Schools a. A grievant shall file a written grievance with the Superintendent of Schools no later than twenty (20) days after a circumstance or event which has given rise to a potential grievance.
b. The Superintendent shall, within ten (10) days after receipt of the referral, meet with the aggrieved administrator and/or the administrator’s representative(s) for the purpose of resolving the grievance.
c. The Superintendent shall, within ten (10) days after the hearing, render the Superintendent’s decision and the reasons therefore in writing to the aggrieved administrator, with a copy to the Association.
Level One - Superintendent of Schools. 1. If an aggrieved administrator is not satisfied with the outcome of informal procedures, or if he/she has not elected to utilize such procedures, he/she may present his/her claim as a written grievance to the Superintendent of Schools.
2. The Superintendent shall within five (5) days after receipt of the written grievance, render his decision and the reasons in writing to the aggrieved administrator; with a copy to the Chairperson of the Suffield Administrators’ Group.
Level One - Superintendent of Schools a. If an Administrator is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at the informal stage, he/she may, within five (5) days after informally discussing the matter with the Superintendent submit his/her grievance in writing to the Superintendent. No change shall be made in the subject matter of the original grievance, with the understanding that procedural issues may be raised at any level.
b. The Superintendent shall, within ten (l0) days after receipt of the grievance meet with the Administrator for the purpose of resolving the grievance, and hearing relevant information. The Superintendent shall, within ten (l0) days after such meeting, render his/her decision and the reasons therefore in writing to the Administrator, with a copy to the Association.
Level One - Superintendent of Schools a. If the grievant is not satisfied with the outcome of the informal discussion of the grievance with his or her immediate supervisor, the grievant may submit the grievance in writing to the Superintendent. A grievance will be deemed waived if it is not submitted in writing to the Superintendent at this Level One within twenty (20) days after whichever the following two times shall be the earlier:
(i) knowledge by the Administrators of the event giving rise to the grievance;
(ii) knowledge by the grievant of the event giving rise to the grievance.
b. Within ten (10) days after receipt of the written grievance at this Level One, the Superintendent will render his/her decision in writing.
Level One - Superintendent of Schools. If, as a result of the discussion, the matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the grievant within five (5) working days, he shall set forth the grievance in writing to the Superintendent of Schools specifying:
a. the nature of the grievance, including the specific section of' the contract involved;
Level One - Superintendent of Schools a. The Association, on behalf of its members, shall file written grievances with the Superintendent of Schools.
b. The Superintendent shall, within five (5) days after the receipt of the referral, meet with the aggrieved administrator and representative(s) from the B.A.A. for the purpose of resolving the grievance.
c. The Superintendent shall, within ten (10) days after the hearing, render his/her decision and the reasons therefor in writing to the aggrieved administrator with copies to the Association and to the Board.
Level One - Superintendent of Schools. The grievant shall set forth his grievance in writing to the Superintendent of Schools specifying:
a. The nature of the grievance
b. The nature and extent of the injury, loss or inconvenience
c. The section of contract alleged to have been violated. The Superintendent or designee shall communicate a decision in writing to both the grievant and immediate supervisor within five (5) work days of the written grievance.
