Liability Deposit. 14.1. In case of an accident with a third-party, the Customer will be responsible for Damages up to the amount of the deductible (Liability Deposit). The Liability is applicable regardless of who is at fault and will be charged at the time the accident is reported to Condor Campers, not at the end of the Rental Period. Where a Third Party is involved and recognised as responsible for the accident, the Vehicle Liability Deposit will be refunded only if Condor Campers are successful in recovering the cost of the Damages from the Third Party. Please note that Third Party claims can take many months to resolve.

Upon pick up of the Vehicle, the Customer agrees Condor Campers to secure a Liability Deposit of 1,200,000 CLP on the Customers credit card (no cash or debit card Liability Deposit allowed).The Customer irrevocably mandates Condor Campers to deduct from the Liability Deposit any amounts due to Damages, infringement of this Agreement or payments agreed on it.

Liability Deposit. If the Liability Reduction Option or the Mighty Pack is not taken, the customer must pay the Liability Deposit. The Liability Deposit is $3,500 or $5,000 and is applicable regardless if the hirer has purchased private travel insurance.. The customer must provide a valid credit card or debit card to pay the Liability Deposit and the amount will be debited to the customer’s credit card or debit card on the day of vehicle collection. The credit or debit card holder must be present and able to sign for the Liability Deposit upon vehicle collection. The credit or debit card holder is jointly and severally liable for any damage to the rental vehicle. Any type of pre-paid travel card is not acceptable as a means to provide a Liability Deposit. The Liability Deposit is subject to a 1.6% credit card administration fee in addition to the Liability Deposit amount when the card used is either a Visa credit or debit card or MasterCard credit or debit card, or 2.8% when the credit card used is American Express. The credit card administration fees are subject to change. The Liability Deposit is fully refundable, including the 1.6% credit card administration fee, if the card used to provide the Liability Deposit is a Visa credit or debit card or MasterCard credit or debit card, provided the Vehicle is returned undamaged. Mighty recommend that customers use a Visa credit or debit card or MasterCard credit or debit card for the Liability Deposit, as the credit card administration fee that applies when using American Express credit card is not refundable. ONLY VISA CREDIT OR VISA DEBIT CARD, MASTERCARD CREDIT OR MASTERCARD DEBIT CARD, OR AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD ARE ACCEPTABLE TO USE FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE LIABILITY DEPOSIT.
Liability Deposit. Renter SHALL PAY A $1,000.00 LIABILITY DEPOSIT PRIOR TO LEAVING PROPERTY, and is responsible for ALL damages and fees to the UTV/TRAILER/equipment. If the UTV/TRAILER/ equipment is LATE, DAMAGED, OR MUST BE TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE OR REPLACED, the liability deposit and additional money, if applicable, for ANY LOSS will be paid for when the rental is returned. There may be additional fees for: damages that are unseen, LOSS OF USE UP TO 14 DAYS, fuel, cleaning, abuse, and late fees. The liability deposit shall not bear interest. LATE FEE: $50 first 30 minutes late, $50 each consecutive 30 minutes. Fees will be deducted from deposit. HELMET CLEANING FEE: $25 abuse fee PER helmet returned muddy or wet on INSIDE of helmet. This may happen when renters do not wear helmet and let it roll around in the back of UTV. Fees will be deducted from deposit. BAD WEATHER: Captain’s Hideaway Powersports Rentals, LLC rides rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel this rental agreement due to inclement or impending bad weather. This could include but not limited to severe thunder storms, flash flooding, tornado watch/warning, freezing or near freezing temperatures, etc. A refund of amount paid will be issued minus any service/convenience fee charged by credit card company. NO REFUND ONCE RENTER LEAVES PROPERTY.
