LIAISON COMMITTEES. 15.01 Liaison Committees exist for the purpose of discussion of matters of concern to the Board and the Bargaining Unit. Each Committee shall be comprised of three (3) teachers appointed by the Bargaining Unit, three (3) Board representatives to be appointed by the Board, at least one of whom shall be a trustee, and the Director or designate who shall be the neutral facilitator/chairperson.

LIAISON COMMITTEES. A. The purpose of liaison committees is to encourage and facilitate communications between the teaching staff, the administration, and the Board, and to review and discuss school problems and practices relating to and affecting the teaching staff and curriculum. B. There will be three (3) Teacher-Principal Liaison Committees, one to represent County Road School, one to represent Xxxxxx Xxx Xxxxxxx School, and one to represent Xxxxxxxx Middle School. 1. Three (3) teaching staff members shall be chosen by the Association to serve on each of the Teacher-Principal Liaison Committee. 2. The chairperson will alternate monthly between the D.E.A. and the principal. 3. The Teacher-Principal Liaison Committee will meet by the 15th of each month at a mutually agreed upon time and place. Such monthly meetings may be canceled with the agreement of both parties. 4. Items for agenda will be submitted to the building principal three (3) days prior to meeting. The agendas will be distributed to all staff members and administrators at least two (2) days prior to the meeting. Agenda items for Association shall be developed and submitted by the Association. 5. A recording secretary shall be chosen from the Association to record minutes of such meetings. These minutes shall be typed by a school secretary and distributed to all members of the faculty and the administration within three (3) school days after such meetings are held. Minutes shall be reviewed for accuracy and approved by the principal and Association representative prior to general distribution. C. There will a Teacher-Superintendent Liaison Committee consisting of: six (6) teaching staff members, the chairperson, and one (1) other member from each of the Teacher-Principal Liaison Committees, the superintendent, and the administrators. 1. The chairperson will alternate monthly between the D.E.A. and the superintendent. 2. The Teacher-Superintendent Liaison Committee will meet by the 30th of each month at a mutually agreed upon time and place. Such monthly meetings may be canceled with the agreement of both parties. 3. Any matter which pertains to a particular building must first be raised with the Teacher-Principal Liaison Committee before it may be raised at the Teacher-Superintendent Liaison Committee. Any matter which has system-wide impact will normally be raised first with the Teacher-Principal Liaison Committee. 4. Items for agenda will be submitted to superintendent’s office three (3) days prior to meeting....
LIAISON COMMITTEES. (A) Each Party shall, by written notice to the other Party, appoint and/or remove four (4) persons for appointment to a liaison committee established to consider the Budget Updates and the financial and availability sections of the Biannual Reports (the “Financial Liaison Committee”). (B) Electrabel shall appoint and/or remove the president of the Financial Liaison Committee from time to time. (C) Electrabel and NuclearSub shall: (i) attend meetings of the Financial Liaison Committee to discuss the financial aspects and availability sections of the May Biannual Report prior to 30 June of the relevant Contract Year and of the November Biannual Report prior to 31 December of the relevant Contract Year; and (ii) attend meetings of the Operational Liaison Committee to discuss the technical aspects of the May Biannual Report prior to 30 June of the relevant Contract Year and of the November Biannual Report prior to 31 December of the relevant Contract Year.
LIAISON COMMITTEES. It is the intention of the District and of the OCTA that professional employees become involved in the planning and development of educational programs and related activities and the implementation of this agreement in the best interests of all parties concerned.
LIAISON COMMITTEES. A Liaison Committee for each school building shall be chosen by the building faculty at the most convenient time after the final adoption of this Agreement. The purpose of this Committee shall be to meet with the building principal every four (4) weeks during the school year to review and discuss school problems and practices.

  • LIAISON COMMITTEE 8.1 The Law Society shall establish a committee to include, without limitation, representatives from Qualifying Insurers, the Law Society, and the ARP Manager (the Liaison Committee). 8.2 The purpose of the Liaison Committee shall include: 8.2.1 reviewing the arrangements relating to the provision of compulsory professional indemnity insurance to members of the solicitors’ profession generally; and 8.2.2 considering proposed amendments to such arrangements, including proposed variations to the Rules, the Minimum Terms or the standard form Qualifying Insurer’s Agreement. 8.3 The terms of reference relating to the Liaison Committee shall be as determined by the Law Society from time to time.

  • Delegation; Committees The Trustees shall have the power, consistent with their continuing exclusive authority over the management of the Trust and the Trust Property, to delegate from time to time to such of their number or to officers, employees or agents of the Trust the doing of such things, including any matters set forth in this Declaration, and the execution of such instruments either in the name of the Trust or the names of the Trustees or otherwise as the Trustees may deem expedient.   • Board Committees The Director hereby agrees to sit in the relevant committees of the Board and to perform all of the duties, services and responsibilities necessary thereunder.

  • Joint Committees 1101 Release Time (a) Basic pay or equivalent time off, with a minimum of one (1) hour guaranteed to nurses who are not on duty, will be granted to nurses appointed by the Union to attend meetings of the Union Management Committee and any other Facility joint committee to which the Union is required to appoint representatives. (b) All reasonable efforts will be made to relieve a nurse who is appointed to attend meetings of the Union Management Committee, Nursing Advisory Committee or any other facility joint committee to which the Union is required to appoint representatives, without loss of salary or benefits. This clause is applicable when the meeting(s) occurs during hours the nurse is otherwise scheduled to work. 1102 Union Management Committee The Employer and the Union agree to establish and maintain a Union Management Committee consisting of not less than two (2) persons appointed by each of the parties. Management representatives shall include the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing; Union representatives shall include the President and/or Vice-President of the Local. Appointments shall be made for a term of one (1) year but without limit on the number of consecutive terms a member may serve. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party subject to five (5) days notice being given but not less than bi-monthly unless otherwise mutually agreed. The purpose of the Committee shall be to discuss/study/make recommendations to the Employer and the Union regarding matters of mutual concern. 1103 Nursing Advisory Committee

  • Sub-Committees 15.1 The Joint Committee shall establish the membership and terms of reference for any sub-committees or sub-groups which it establishes and may dissolve such sub-committees or sub-groups. Sub-committees to which the Joint Committee delegates functions are bound by the provisions of this Agreement regulating the taking of decisions by the Joint Committee. The Joint Committee may create additional sub-committees from time to time as it sees fit.

  • Advisory Committees The Board may appoint Advisory Committees to review design review applications, or provide input on other issues of concern to the Board or the Commission. These Advisory Committees include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Cameron Park Design Review Committee 2. El Dorado Hills Design Review Committee 3. Xxxxxxx Pines Design Review Committee 4. The County’s Economic Development Advisory Committee (“EDAC”)

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.

  • Committees The Parties agree on establishing Committees in the following matters: (a) Trade in Goods; (b) Trade in Services; (c) Investment; (d) Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures; (e) Technical Barriers to Trade; (f) Trade Facilitation; (g) Rules of Origin; and (h) Cooperation, including Intellectual Property. 2. The Free Trade Commission may create additional Committees, if needed.   • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association. B. The committee will accept and review application for a TLS position and will make recommendations to the hiring administrator. In developing recommendations, the committee will utilize measures of teacher effectiveness and professional growth, consider the needs of the school district and review the performance and professional development of the applicants. Teachers who are selected must meet all of the qualification contained in the TLS grant and contained in the law.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.
