Liaison Meetings. It shall be the intent of the Parties that liaison meetings between the Local Union and senior representatives of the Employer shall be held annually. Special meetings shall be held if required. The Parties shall undertake to settle problems relating to the Agreement at these meetings but excluding specific grievances currently being processed.
Liaison Meetings. The District will continue its practice of meeting with the Union to review and discuss current problems, practices, and the administration and enforcement of this Agreement within the District/unit.
Liaison Meetings. 10.1. The Parties undertake to hold meetings at least bi-annually at such times and venues as shall be agreed on and each Party shall ensure that they are represented at such meetings.
Liaison Meetings. The parties to this Agreement agree to retain a joint Management Union Committee which will meet monthly to examine, discuss and make recommendations to the parties on all matters of mutual interest, such as accident prevention, employee employer relations, including wherever possible, advance notice of matters likely to significantly affect employee working conditions, and public and industrial relations.
Liaison Meetings. These provisions require the Parties to meet at monthly intervals to review the performance of the service even where there are no reported or known problems. Such meetings are expected to support good management and communication by encouraging the early airing of potential concerns and grievances before they become serious enough to merit the more formal early warning and risk reduction meeting processes. If every aspect of the contract is proceeding satisfactorily the Liaison Meeting may be brief. Option Z 8 Fair payment charter These provisions ensure that the Employer is able to comply with the OGC’s policies on fair payment.

Liaison Meetings. Because this is a multi-year agreement and issues may from time to time arise that would potentially benefit from discussion, the parties agree to hold periodic liaison meetings between the City and Local during the term of this agreement to discuss and attempt to resolve issues that may arise. The purpose of these meetings will not be to renegotiate the terms of the agreement, nor bargain for additional benefits. Meetings shall be upon the written request of either party on dates/times agreeable to both parties, provided the parties will not be required to hold a liaison meeting more than once in any ninety (90) day period; however, if both parties are agreeable, they may meet more frequently. The Union may initiate a request for a liaison meeting by contacting the police chief in writing. Likewise, the City may initiate a request for a liaison meeting by contacting the Union president in writing. Meetings shall not be more than three hours in length unless mutually agreed to by both parties. This section will be in effect until 11:59 pm June 30, 2025, at which time it will sunset and become a “Reserved” section. Submission of any matter to the liaison meeting process does not toll any timelines in any grievance process. Any party wishing to preserve any grievance timelines must obtain written agreement from the other party to extend any timeline requirement accordingly. Finally, as part of this agreement, the parties agree to refer the pending grievance concerning shift differential pay to a liaison meeting for discussion.
