The heating controls are located on 3 banks of switches in bays on left hand side of hall with instructions in the first bay. The light switch next to entrance door operates lights in entrance hall and outside. Light switches immediately on the right as you enter the hall operate the two lights in the first bay; other light switches are behind door leading to stage. Kitchen and annexe have switches just inside the area. Various power sockets are located around the hall. If you bring your own electrical appliances, they must meet safety standards. The main stopcock is located under worktop to the left of the kitchen sink Located by double doors to garden adjacent to kitchen. The hall car park will accommodate 12 cars if they are parked sensibly. There are two allocated disabled parking spaces at the front of the hall adjacent to access ramp. All cars parked at owner’s risk. Please ask your guests to leave quietly at the close of your event. Car doors banging and loud talk in the car park are disturbing to local residents.

Lighting and Power. 21.1 The Employer shall make no charge to the Contractor for the electricity consumed for carrying out and completing the Works. However, the Employer reserves the right to require the Contractor to arrange for his own temporary electricity meter with the power company at his own cost if in the opinion of the Employer the demand is large or likely to cause an overload to the Employer’s distribution system. 21.2 If connection to the Employer’s supply is agreed, the Contractor shall at his own cost arrange for all connections to the Employer’s electricity supply, all cabling, conduits, distribution boards and the like and for all tools and lighting. 21.3 All electrical connections and fittings used for this purpose shall be in good and safe condition and conform to the relevant guidelines and regulations including those of the Labour Department and Electrical and Mechanical Services Department.

Press the timer switches once to obtain15 mins heat, twice for 30 mins, 3 x for 1 hour or 4 x for 2 hours heating. Pressing the timer button once again after the 2 hour selection will clear the timer and turn off the heating. Please turn off the heating when you leave.
