LIMITATIONS OF OPERATIONS. 7.12.1 Contractor shall at all times conduct the work in such manner and in such sequence as will ensure the least practicable interference with pedestrian and motor traffic passageways. The Contractor shall furnish convenient detours and provide and plan other appropriate signs, flashers, personnel, warnings, barricades and other devices for handling pedestrian and motor traffic.

LIMITATIONS OF OPERATIONS. 8-4.1 Night Work: During active nighttime operations, furnish, place and maintain lighting sufficient to permit proper workmanship and inspection. Use lighting with 5 ft-cd minimum intensity. Arrange the lighting to prevent interference with traffic or produce undue glare to property owners. Operate such lighting only during active nighttime construction and maintenance activities. Provide a light meter to demonstrate that the minimum light intensity is being maintained. Lighting may be accomplished by the use of portable floodlights, standard equipment lights, existing street lights, temporary street lights, or other lighting methods approved by the Engineer. During active nighttime operations, furnish, place and maintain variable message signs to alert approaching motorists of lighted maintenance zones ahead. Operate the variable message signs only during active maintenance activities. Take ownership of all lighting equipment for night work.
LIMITATIONS OF OPERATIONS. In case of a dispute arising between two or more Contractors engaged on the same work as to the respective rights or each under these Specifications, the Engineer shall determine the matters at issue and shall define the respective rights of the various interests involved in order to secure the completion of all parts of the Work in harmony and with satisfactory results. Any such decisions by the Engineer shall be final and binding on all parties and shall not in any way give rise to or provide a basis for a claim for extra compensation by any of the parties.

The representative is to provide technical expertise to the Contractor and the Engineer regarding safe handling, placement and curing of the PPC patches and overlay. The representative will remain on-site a minimum of three days of mixing and placing the PPC material, or until the representative is confident the material is being mixed and placed properly by the contractor’s personnel, whichever is longer. Use no power driven tools heavier than a 15 pound chipping hammer during deck preparation. Do not open the prime coat to traffic.

LIMITATIONS OF OPERATIONS. A. The Contractor shall begin work at such points as may be specified in the Contract, and shall thereafter prosecute the work at such points and in such order as may be prescribed therein.

At anytime, when in the judgment of the Engineer, the Contractor has obstructed, closed, or is conducting his/her operations on a greater portion of the project vicinity than is necessary for the proper prosecution of the work, the Engineer may require the Contractor to finish the section on which work is in progress before work is started on any additional sections.
LIMITATIONS OF OPERATIONS. Awarded Bidder(s) maybe required to provide services any time of the day, any day of the week, as requested by the County. However, the County anticipates that the majority of the services will be needed during the facility hours outlined in Facility Descriptions. The services are based on the defined job classification provided in Job Descriptions. A typical work week shall consist of forty (40) work hours. Awarded Bidder(s) shall not provide any personnel to perform services to the County Department on holidays officially observed by the County, unless such services are approved by the County.
