LOCAL HEALTH BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES. 2.1. The Local Health Board shall enter into a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with all pharmacies commissioned to provide the service. The service level agreement will allow the contractor to stipulate the maximum number of patients they are prepared to support by the filling of PAPD devices. This will be a minimum of one, contractors and the LHB can review and agree this level at any time. If reducing the service provision contractors must give up to 90 days notice to allow reallocation of patients to other pharmacy providers. 2.2. The Local Health Board, or its authorised officer, shall support the resolution of difficulties so far as they relate to issues within the control of the Local Health Board. 2.6. The Local Health Board, or its authorised officer, shall support the handling of any complaints or issues relating to the service so far as they relate to issues within the control of the Local Health Board. 2.7. The LHB health board pharmacist will provide the Service Provider with details of any changes to existing prescribed medication, and a complete list of the medicines the patient is to prescribed ongoing. If it is proposed that these are to be packed in a PAPD they will include a copy of the UKMI medication stability report for reference.
