Local Standards. The Local Unions and the Employer shall, within one hundred eighty (180) days following ratification of this Agreement, identify and reduce to writing, and submit to the appropriate Regional Joint Area Committee, those local standards and conditions practiced under this Article. Such standards and conditions when submitted in accordance with this Section shall be currently dated. Those local standards and conditions previously practiced hereunder which are not so submitted shall be deemed to have expired. The appropriate Regional Joint Area Committee shall, not later than ninety (90) days following ratification, adopt a procedure to consider the disposition of the local standards and conditions submitted including the right to appoint a subcommittee to make recommendations. The Regional Joint Area Committee shall provide to the parties the opportunity to present their views. The Regional Joint Area Committee shall have the sole discretion to determine the disposition of the submitted local standards and conditions which determination shall be final and binding.
Local Standards. The Subscriber otherwise meets any special suitability standards applicable to the Subscriber’s state or country of residence or domicile;

(b) Individual Employers may during the life of this Agreement file with the appropriate Regional Joint Area Committee and re- quest review of those individual standards and conditions claimed or practiced under this Article which exceed the provisions of this Agreement and Supplemental Agreements. The Regional Joint Area Committee shall develop a procedure to review the filing including the right to appoint a subcommittee to make recommendations. The Committee shall make every effort to adjust the matter. If the Committee reaches agreement concerning the disposition of the individual standards or conditions, the deci- sion of the Committee shall be final and binding, in the event of deadlock, the submitted standards and/or conditions shall be dis- continued until such time as a decision is rendered through the Area Review and/or National Committee. In the event of dead- lock, the submitted standards and/or conditions shall continue as practiced.

The appropriate Regional Joint Grievance Committee shall provide to the parties the opportunity to present their views and shall determine the disposition of the submitted local standards and conditions. Failing such determination, the submitted local standards and conditions may be appealed through the remainder of the Grievance Procedure beyond the Regional Joint Grievance Committees to see if the standard exists.
Local Standards. Any issue concerning an apprentice or an apprenticeship matter shall be referred to the JATC for its review, evaluation and resolve; as per standards and policies. If the JATC deadlocks on any issue, the matter shall be referred to the Labor-Management Committee for resolution as outlined in Article I of this agreement; except for trust fund matters, which shall be resolved as stipulated in the local trust instrument.

The appropriate ABF Regional Joint Area Committee shall, not later than 90 days following ratification, adopt a procedure to con- sider the disposition of the local standards and conditions submit- xxx including the right to appoint a subcommittee to make recom- mendations. The ABF Conference Joint Area Committee shall provide to the parties the opportunity to present their views. The ABF Regional Joint Area Committee shall have the sole discre- tion to determine the disposition of the submitted local standards and conditions which determination shall be referred to the ABF National Grievance Committee for decision which shall be final and binding.

Local Standards. The Participating Jurisdictions agree to work toward attaining and maintaining minimum emergency management performance standards, which include, but are not limited to:
1. Developing and maintaining a functional Emergency Operations Center (EOC), including written position descriptions, trained emergency management staff, displays, communication equipment, etc.
2. Developing and maintaining a multi-hazard functional Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) that is consistent with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and state guidance.
3. Developing and maintaining a Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan (NHMP) that is consistent with FEMA and state guidance.
4. Developing and maintaining a Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan that is consistent with FEMA and state guidance.
5. Conducting at least an annual exercise of the EOC and emergency management plans at a functional or full scale level.
6. Providing educational materials and programs on disaster preparedness for individuals, families, and businesses.
Local Standards. 16.1. Laws, standards, culture and attitudes may be different in Scotland from what you may expect at home. We are not responsible for standards of service, safety, hygiene and behaviour which may be other than you are used to or which you expected.
16.2. We do not make any representation or commitment that all services will comply with applicable local laws and regulations and failure to comply does not automatically mean we or the service supplier has not exercised reasonable skill and care.
16.3. Please also note that we will only be responsible for what our employees, agents and suppliers do or do not do if they were at the time acting within the course of their employment (for employees) or carrying out work we had asked them to do (for agents and suppliers).
