Lodging and Rest Facilities. 1. The Company shall provide a pilot a single occupancy hotel room in the following circumstances: a. between 2 consecutive flights within a trip containing an intermediate stop scheduled to exceed 4 hours. b. at a pilot’s election, if, due to operational circumstances, he is projected to experience an actual intermediate stop, from block-in to block-out, that is: i. in excess of 4 hours; and ii. more than one hour greater than the originally scheduled intermediate stop. c. while on hotel standby. d. while away from his base for training or other Company assigned non- flying duty requiring an overnight stay. e. during any legal rest period away from his domicile. f. at the conclusion of the revenue portion of a trip, at the pilot’s election, when the final duty period of that trip exceeds 10 hours and the pilot is scheduled to deadhead by air to his base as the concluding segment of the trip. i. The room shall be located in the city in which the revenue portion of the trip terminates and the deadhead is scheduled to originate. ii. The pilot is responsible for maintaining his eligibility and legality for a subsequent assignment. iii. Unless operational circumstances preclude it, CRS shall assist the pilot in making his reservation at the contract hotel, or, if unavailable, at another comparable hotel in the same city. iv. Deviation from scheduled deadhead procedures as referenced in Section 8.C.1.h. (End of Trip Deviation), shall be followed. g. at the conclusion of a trip at domicile when the trip was scheduled with a layover(s) and is rescheduled as follows: i. the trip has no layover; and ii. the duty time for the trip as rescheduled exceeds 9 hours. 2. If a routinely scheduled intermediate stop is scheduled to exceed 2 hours, a suitable rest/break facility shall be provided, except where it is not operationally feasible and it shall meet the following parameters: a. clean and sanitary; b. appropriately climate controlled; c. adequate comfortable seating with at least 3 recliners; d. access to refreshments and snacks; and e. clean, sanitary washrooms with hot and cold running water and toilet facilities. 3. The Company agrees to provide pilots lodging facilities consistent with its historical practices. Such facilities permit pilots to receive adequate rest and offer a range of services while at the same time providing the Company with a good and predictable value. A Pilot shall be furnished with suitable single occupancy lodging at the Company’s expense at all overnight stations, including training (unless the Pilot actually resides within fifty (50) miles of the training site), and Continuous Duty Overnights. When selecting hotels, the following criteria will be considered: safety, cleanliness, reasonable cost, eating facility, proximity to the airport, non-smoking rooms and the ability of the Pilot to obtain rest (quiet). 2. The Company will furnish the crew with a day room (maximum double occupancy hotel room for both Pilots, unless one crew member is male and the other is female, in which case the Pilots will be given separate, single occupancy hotel rooms) for all scheduled continuous duty layovers longer than four and one-half (4.5) hours that are known prior to the day of the continuous duty layover. In addition, a day room (maximum double occupancy hotel room for both Pilots, unless one crew member is male and the other is female, in which case the Pilots will be given separate, single occupancy hotel rooms) will be furnished for all continuous duty layovers projected to last longer than four and one-half (4.5) hours that become known on the same day as the continuous duty layover, provided there is a room available. 3. The bid packages will list the current lodging facilities, the telephone numbers of those facilities, and the method of transportation between the airport and the lodging facility.

  • Laundry Facilities Washers and dryers are installed in each apartment for the exclusive use of students in the apartment. Any other use is prohibited. The use of washers and dryers are free. LINEN: Brighton provides a mattress cover on all mattresses. Students need to bring their own bedding. All beds are regular twin size. The typical cost for replacing a mattress cover is $25.00. MAINTENANCE: Students are responsible to notify the manager in writing as soon as possible if they notice anything in an apartment that requires repair work or maintenance. See “Property Conditions” section 12 of the BYU-Idaho Student Landlord Housing Contract.

  • TEACHER FACILITIES A. The Board shall provide for each actively employed teacher: 1. A serviceable desk, chair and computer. 2. Access to a dining table. 3. A lockable desk, file cabinet or closet in which teachers may store instructional materials and supplies. 4. An appropriately furnished room to be reserved for the exclusive use of staff as a faculty lounge. Said room will be regularly cleaned by the custodial staff and will be in addition to the other teacher work areas. However, staff will be expected to keep the lounge reasonably neat and orderly. 5. Access to well-lighted and clean employee restrooms, separate from the students' restrooms with appropriate supplies. 6. Storage facilities for special instructional personnel. 7. In accordance with applicable food and nutrition guidelines, the principal, at request by a majority of the teachers, may arrange for the installation of a maximum of two faculty vending machines in each faculty lounge. All proceeds from the machines shall be used in such manner as the majority of teachers and educational support employees of that building shall determine. Cost, if any, of installation shall be borne by the teachers and educational support employees of each school. B. Where feasible in existing buildings, and in all new buildings, the following will be provided. 1. A teacher work area containing adequate equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials. 2. A communication system so that teachers can communicate with the main office from their classrooms, provided that such system is used only for emergency announcements during class periods. 3. Space for teachers' dining in a faculty lounge or other room unavailable to students with tables and chairs sufficient to accommodate teachers during their lunch period. C. Teachers shall report in writing to the principal any condition considered unsafe or hazardous. The principal shall take action(s) as appropriate and shall notify the teacher in writing of such action(s) taken within five (5) days. D. A telephone will be made available for teachers to use for school business. Teachers and principals shall arrange this use to provide reasonable privacy during the call. During the workday, teachers may make personal phone calls only if the calls cannot be made at any other time. E. Teachers who need access to a telephone for school business after the workday ends shall arrange this access with the principal. Teachers with supervisory responsibilities will also have access to the building. F. An adequate portion of the parking lots at each school will be reserved for teacher parking. Effective July 1, 2012, newly hired employees assigned to the South East Street Central Office location will be required to pay a fee of $45 per month if they elect to park in designated BOE parking areas. Twelve-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payments over 24 equal paychecks. Eleven-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payments over 22 equal paychecks. Ten-month employees may elect payroll deduction to allocate payment over 20 equal paychecks. G. The Board will take steps to ensure teachers have access to their classrooms when custodians unlock the buildings in the morning and up to one (1) hour before custodial shifts end on weekdays during the school year, provided rooms are not being utilized by outside user groups. Teachers shall have access to their rooms during summer operating hours during summer months unless there is scheduled maintenance, outside user groups or FCPS programs occurring.

  • Office Facilities During the period of employment, Executive shall have his office where the Corporation’s principal executive offices are located from time to time, which currently are at 3000 Xxxx Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxxxx, and the Corporation shall furnish Executive with office facilities reasonably suitable to his position at such location.

  • Toilet Facilities The Employer provides the Contractor access to toilet facilities. Temporary chemical toilets are provided by the Contractor where deemed necessary.

  • Sanitary Facilities Construction (a) Closets shall be soundly constructed and roofed with weatherproof material. The floor of each closet shall be well drained and constructed of concrete, bricks and cement, or of other approved materials which shall be impervious to water. Every closet shall be well lighted by natural or artificial light and shall be ventilated. Each closet shall have a hinged door, capable of being fastened on the inside, lift seats/flaps and toilet paper. (b) If closets are of single unit construction (only to be used for the formwork process), not contained within a purpose built ablution block, privacy walls which shield the closet/s from outside view shall be installed. (Privacy walls are not required for purpose built ablution blocks eg ATCO huts). (c) Where practicable, toilets to be connected to sewerage before commencement of the job. (d) Closet/urinal location to be conveniently accessible to Employees, but not so close as to cause a nuisance to those persons. (e) Where necessary, portable water seal toilets of an approved standard are to be provided and regularly serviced. (f) Conveniently accessible closets and urinals are to be distributed every 5th floor on multi storey constructions. (g) Closets and urinals are to be washed daily with disinfectant and kept in clean, hygienic condition. (h) Adequate washing facilities, suitably drained, and wash basins/troughs are to be supplied with hot and cold running water. (i) Soap and towels are to be supplied.

  • Facilities Keep all properties useful or necessary to Borrower's business in good repair and condition, and from time to time make necessary repairs, renewals and replacements thereto so that such properties shall be fully and efficiently preserved and maintained.
