Maximum Accumulation of Annual Sick Leave. The unused portion of an employee’s sick leave shall accrue for the employee’s future benefit, to a maximum of 840 hours.

Maximum Accumulation of Annual Sick Leave. The portion of an employee’s sick leave that is unused each year shall accrue for his use in future years of service to the Employer. After one year of service, those employees employed on March 31st of each year may opt to cash the unused portion of their accumulated sick leave, accumulated in that fiscal year, at the rate of fifty percent (50%) of the current value of the sick leave. Employees who terminate during the fiscal year in advance of March 31st, shall be entitled to a pro rata amount.

  • Accumulation of Annual Leave A. During the first three (3) years of employment, a regular or limited term employee shall earn approximately five (5) hours and fifty-one (51) minutes of annual leave during each eighty (80) hour pay period (approximately one hundred fifty-two [152] hours per year), or a prorated amount for any pay period in which the employee is paid for less than eighty (80) hours.

  • Maximum Accumulation Maximum accumulation amounts apply only to the amount of annual leave that may be carried over from one leave year to the next, and do not limit accumulated leave balances during the leave year.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation For twenty (20) or more hour employees, sick leave is earned and credited at the rate of one (1) day per calendar month of active employment. The day shall be credited upon the first day of the month. Ten (10) days per year for less than fifty-two (52) weeks and twelve (12) days per year for fifty-two week employees. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.
