Membership Training and Educationals. Staff may be required to conduct training and educationals for the membership of CUPE 3902. The Employer may, at the Employer’s discretion, use the educational resources of the Canadian Union of Public Employees or any other body with which CUPE 3902 is affiliated. Where the Employer intends to hire outside instructors and/or facilitators for members’ training, the Union shall be informed in writing, including the reasons.

Membership Training and Educationals. 11.06.1 Training and educationals for the membership of the Employer will normally be conducted by the employees of the Local. Where additional staff are required, assignments will be made in consultation with the Labour-Management Committee.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Paid Educational Leave a. An employee may request special paid leave at straight-time hourly rate which may be granted employees for educational purposes which will benefit the State by adding to or strengthening employee skills or knowledge and to allow employees to attend approved conferences, professional meetings and workshops.

  • TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS The parties recognise that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the company a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. Accordingly the parties commit themselves to:

The designated state official of a party state may make 1 or more contracts on behalf of his state with 1 or more other party states providing for the acceptance of educational personnel. Any such contract for the period of its duration shall be applicable to and binding on the states whose designated state officials enter into it, and the subdivisions of those states, with the same force and effect as if incorporated in this agreement. A designated state official may enter into a contract pursuant to this article only with states in which he finds that there are programs of education, certification standards or other acceptable qualifications that assure preparation or qualification of educational personnel on a basis sufficiently comparable, even though not identical to that prevailing in his own state.

  • Stewards Training Courses 22.6.1 Where operational requirements permit, the Council may grant leave without pay to a xxxxxxx to undertake training related to the duties of a xxxxxxx.
