Mutual Transfers. Members of equal rank may request a mutual transfer. Such requests shall be submitted to the Operations Bureau, which will route the request to the appropriate member(s) of department management, who will act upon said request according to the policies set forth herein and must meet time eligibility requirements. Mutual transfers may be denied and/or reversed by joint action of the District and VCPFA to avoid unfair manipulation of the remaining provisions of this section. A request for mutual transfer will be denied if any member holding higher seniority than either of the requesting parties has a current bid selection for one or more of the affected assignments subject to the following provision. In the case that two (2) or fewer senior members have a current bid selection for the affected assignment(s), a member of the HR staff will make a confidential courtesy contact with the senior member(s) to advise them of the mutual request and to determine if they wish to keep the bid for the assignment(s) active. If the senior member(s) choose to withdraw their bid(s), the transfer request will be processed. In the case that three (3) or more senior members have active bid selections no contacts will be made and the mutual transfer request will be denied. Mutual transfer requests will not be processed during the month of January. Mutual transfers shall not be allowed between staff and line assigned personnel or staff and staff assigned personnel.
Mutual Transfers. Mutual transfers as approved by the Chief may be allowed between members of the Tiverton Fire Department, provided however, that all parties are qualified and all senior members are offered said positions. Approval of such transfers will not to be unreasonably withheld.

Mutual Transfers. Patients may likewise be transferred from the Hospital to the Facility, following the same processes outlined in this Agreement. The Parties shall meet periodically to review the transfer process, of policies and procedures in order to improve the process, including efficiency, clinical care and patient safety.

Mutual Transfers. Trading of assignments will be allowed. If either mutually traded assignment becomes vacant within 120 days, both assignments shall be posted for bidding. The 120 days begins when all parties have approved the mutual transfer in writing and at least one of the mutual-trade employees has begun the traded assignment.
Mutual Transfers. The Company will establish a method of allowing Domestic Flight Attendants from different Domestic base stations to mutually transfer as provided herein.
1. The Company may permit the processing of Domestic Mutual Transfers at any time at the option of the Company without regard to normal transfer activity, as described in paragraph A. of this Article, at a particular base or throughout the system. If, however, there is an absence of such transfer activity at a base for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days, the Company will begin processing Domestic Mutual Transfer requests to the base.
2. A Flight Attendant who desires a Domestic Mutual Transfer shall submit a transfer request to the Company, indicating a desire for a mutual transfer.
3. The Company will maintain a list of Flight Attendants requesting Domestic Mutual Transfers and review the operational needs at each base prior to processing. Domestic Mutual Transfers will be processed in system seniority order. Flight Attendants may be required to possess the same equipment/service qualifications and/or the same language qualifications. The Company will not be required to process more than ten (10) Domestic Mutual Transfers into any base in any given month.
4. W hen a transfer match is made, those Flight Attendants desiring the Domestic Mutual Transfer shall be notified by the Company. If the transfer is accepted by both Flight Attendants, such transfer shall be effective on the first day of the next month as defined in the Basic Agreement. A Flight Attendant may decline the Domestic Mutual Transfer offer; however, his/her Domestic Mutual Transfer request will be removed from the Domestic Mutual Transfer list. If either Flight Attendant rescinds such transfer request upon notification, the Domestic Mutual Transfer is voided.
5. If the Flight Attendant accepts the Domestic Mutual Transfer offer, he/she must remain at the new base for a period of three (3) months.
6. The Domestic Mutual Transfer shall be at the Flight Attendant's expense.
7. A Flight Attendant involved in a Domestic Mutual Transfer shall be responsible for rearranging his/her schedule to avoid trip sequence conflicts. If the Flight Attendant cannot rearrange his/her schedule to avoid a conflict, the Flight Attendant shall be removed from the trip sequence at the Company's option, and the Flight Attendant shall not be paid or credited for the trip removal and the monthly guarantee shall be reduced accordingly.
Mutual Transfers. Members of the same rank may request, in writing, a transfer by mutual agreement stating all parties involved. These transfers will be allowed, provided all parties involved, including the respective Officer and the Chief, are in accord. Mutual transfers will not be allowed if one of the members will be leaving the Department within 1-year. If a member retires or resigns within 1-year after a mutual transfer, the other members involved will be re-assigned to their original positions. Also, mutual transfers will not be allowed if one of the members in the proposed transfer was a successful bidder at his present position within the past year.
Mutual Transfers. Mutual transfer requests shall be processed ---------------- no later than five (5) days after normal transfers are processed but not later than the 15th of the month. Mutual transfer awards shall be posted within forty-eight (48) hours of the award. The awarding of either transfer (normal or mutual) will cancel all other transfer requests on file. System bid preferences for mutual transfers shall be matched against each other in system seniority order and permanent mutual transfers shall be awarded to the extent that there are matched preferences on file.
