National Coordination Unit. (a) The Recipient shall maintain, throughout Project implementation, the National Coordination Unit, in form and substance and with resources and functions satisfactory to the World Bank, under the Ministry of Planning.
National Coordination Unit. The Recipient shall take all action required on its behalf to cause FIRCA to operate as the National Coordination Unit throughout Project implementation, headed by the Project Coordinator, under terms of reference and with resources satisfactory to the Association. FIRCA shall be entrusted with the day-to-day administration of Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4(ii) of the Project, including management of the national CARG scheme to be operated under Part 3.1(b) of the Project, and all aspects related to its administration, reporting and monitoring. For such purposes, the NCU shall be managed by the Project Coordinator and shall be staffed, among others, with a deputy coordinator, a technical officer, a monitoring and evaluation officer, a procurement specialist, a financial management specialist, a Project accountant, and an internal auditor. The Recipient shall cause FIRCA: (i) to recruit, not later than one (1) month after the Effective Date, an accountant and an internal auditor on the basis of terms of reference and with qualifications and experience satisfactory to the Association; and (ii) to upgrade, not later than three (3) months after the Effective Date, the computerized financial management system to be used for Parts 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 2, 3.1(b), 3.2, 3.3 and 4(ii) of the Project.

The Partner State has authorised the Central Coordination Unit Directorate at the Council of Ministers Administration to act on its behalf as National Coordination Unit of the Swiss-Bulgarian Cooperation Programme. The role and responsibilities of the National Coordination Unit are set out in the Regulations.
National Coordination Unit. The Partner State has authorised the Funds and Programmes Division (FPD) to act on its behalf as National Coordination Unit of the Swiss – Maltese Cooperation Programme. The Funds and Programmes Division, within the Ministry for the Economy, European Funds and Lands, is responsible for the management and coordination of the overall Swiss-Maltese Cooperation Programme and for the identification, planning, approval by the Partner State, monitoring, financial management, controlling, evaluation, visibility, reporting and post-completion monitoring of Support Measures. The Director General of Funds and Programmes Division shall act as the head of the National Coordination Unit. The Funds and Programmes Division reports to the Permanent Secretary (EU Funds) within the Ministry responsible for EU Funds. The role and responsibilities of the National Coordination Unit are set out in the Regulations.

The Recipient shall take all measures required on its behalf to ensure that the Project activities under Parts 3.2 and 3.3 thereof are incorporated into ARCN’s computerized financial system not later than three (3) months after the Effective Date. National Coordination Unit. Poland has authorised the Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy to act on its behalf as National Coordination Unit (NCU) of the Swiss – Polish Cooperation Programme. The Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy is a government administration body competent for regional development. The role and responsibilities of the National Coordination Unit are set out in the Regulations.
National Coordination Unit. The Partner State has authorized the State Shared Service Centre (hereinafter SSSC) Grants Development Department to act on its behalf as National Coordination Unit of the Swiss – Estonian Cooperation Programme. The SSSC is administrated by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Estonia. The Grants Development Department is directly subordinated to the Deputy Director General of the SSSC, who shall act as the Head of the National Coordination Unit. In its role as Head of the National Coordination Unit, the Deputy Director General of the SSSC is directly accountable to the Minister of Public Administration. The Grants Development Department of the SSSC is also responsible for the coordination and management of the European Structural Investment Funds and other foreign investments (e.g. Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism) The role and responsibilities of the National Coordination Unit are set out in the Regulations. In addition, the National Coordination Unit shall fulfill the tasks of the Paying Authority.
