Nerada Tea Employee Grade. 2 The classification of a Nerada Tea Employee Grade 2 shall mean a person engaged as an Employee who has completed or acquired the skills and competencies in the Tea Tourism Industry to undertake tasks throughout the Visitors Centre. Progression to Employee Grade 3 shall be by assessment. Tasks within this employment Grade may be, but not limited to:- • Food and beverage preparation – Preparation of all food and beverages sold, correct hygiene and handling procedures. • Customer service – Demonstrate the ability to professionally deal with all customers in all areas of the business. • Learning the Nerada Tea history – The ability to independently conduct tours. Impart Nerada Tea’s history from its humble beginnings, including harvesting methods, processing and packaging. • Applying safe work practices in all areas of employment - Have a full understanding of the company’s WHS polices, and apply them to the highest standard. • Cash Handling Procedures – The ability to complete all transactions, including opening closing and banking. • Stock control procedures and stock handling – A complete understanding of stock movements, stock control and stock presentation.

Tasks within this employment Grade may be, but not limited to:- ▪ All of the grade 2 requirements. ▪ The ability to supervise and train the Visitors Centre employees on a week-to-week basis. ▪ Implement rosters to ensure smooth running of the Visitors Centre. ▪ The ability to Competently complete all administration tasks required.

  • Employee Grievance If an employee considers there has been a significant change to the job content of the position held, the employee may initiate a grievance by using Step 1 of the Grievance Procedure. If the issue is not resolved at this step, the Job Classification Review Procedure of Article 22.02(B) above shall be utilized.

  • Casual Employees A casual employee is one who is not regularly scheduled to work other than during periods that such employee shall relieve a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. Casual employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to such benefits as are contained in the “Addendum - Casual Employees”.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Regular Employees Service credit shall be the period of employment with the Company and any service restored as per Part A, Item 5.3.

  • Exempt Employees In conjunction with Section 1 above, employees declared to be exempt by the Employer or the United States Department of Labor shall be governed by this section.

  • Excluded Employees Employees excluded from the bargaining unit who work for an Employer signatory to this Agreement may participate in any of the foregoing benefits under rules and regulations established by the Trustees. The trustees shall determine the contributions required for such benefits.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime.   • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Newly Hired Employees All employees hired to an insurance eligible position must make their benefit elections by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. Insurance eligible employees will automatically be enrolled in basic life coverage. If employees eligible for a full Employer Contribution do not choose a health plan administrator and a primary care clinic by their initial effective date, and do not waive medical coverage, they will be enrolled in a Benefit Level Two clinic (or Level One, if available) that meets established access standards in the health plan with the largest number of Benefit Level One and Two clinics in the county of the employee’s residence at the beginning of the insurance year. If an employee does not choose a health plan administrator and primary care clinic by their initial effective date, but was previously covered as a dependent immediately prior to their initial effective date, they will be defaulted to the plan administrator and primary care clinic in which they were previously enrolled.

  • Employee Grievances (a) Grievances on behalf of employees shall be handled as follows:
