New Bus Drivers Sample Clauses

New Bus Drivers and those hired after a break in continuity of service shall be regarded as “probationary” Bus Drivers for the first thirty (30) actual driving days and shall receive no continuous service credit or fringe benefits except as provided in Articles IX Bus Driver Compensation, XXV Retirement Benefits, and XXIII Bus Driver Worker’s Compensation during such probationary period. Probationary Bus Drivers retained by the Board subsequent to their first thirty (30) actual driving days shall receive full continuous service credit from their date of last hire and shall become eligible for all fringe benefits commencing with their thirty-first (31st) actual driving day. Probationary Bus Drivers may be laid-off, transferred, disciplined, suspended or discharged as exclusively determined by the Board and shall have no recourse to the grievance procedure of this Agreement.

New Bus Drivers. New drivers shall have an experienced bus driver assigned to ride with them during their first week(s) to demonstrate driving on various routes and each type of bus before they are released to drive on their own.
New Bus Drivers. Newly-hired Bus Drivers shall receive payment for Bus Driver training after completing sixty (60) days of employment with the District, which shall consist of payment at the substitute driver rate for hours spent in training.

  • Bus Drivers For overtime worked on normal working days or on days of rest, bus drivers shall be paid as follows:

  • Team Leaders 4.3.1 Team Leaders will be paid on the teachers’ scale according to their qualifications and length of service and in addition will be paid management units for responsibility.

  • Bona Fide Request/New Business Request Process for Further Unbundling 6.1 BellSouth shall, upon request of <<customer_name>>, provide to <<customer_name>> access to its network elements at any technically feasible point for the provision of <<customer_name>>'s telecommunications service where such access is necessary and failure to provide access would impair the ability of <<customer_name>> to provide services that it seeks to offer. Any request by <<customer_name>> for access to a network element, interconnection option, or for the provisioning of any service or product that is not already available shall be treated as a Bona Fide Request/New Business Request (BFR/NBR), and shall be submitted to BellSouth pursuant to the BFR/NBR process.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • New Teacher Orientation The Association shall have the opportunity to participate in the opening in-service day including speakers for the sole purpose of greeting new faculty members and informing them of the opportunities available to them through joining their professional association.

  • New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.

  • Destination CSU-Pueblo scholarship This articulation transfer agreement replaces all previous agreements between CCA and CSU-Pueblo in Bachelor of Science in Physics (Secondary Education Emphasis). This agreement will be reviewed annually and revised (if necessary) as mutually agreed.

  • New Jobs Any new job or jobs created by technological or mechanization changes shall be offered to present employees capable of being trained to perform the new or changed job and the Employer will provide such training. During training, the employee will maintain his/her rate. It is understood that the training herein referred to is on the job and not to exceed sixty (60) days. Certain specialized technical jobs may require additional and off-site training. An employee whose job is eliminated, if any, and who cannot be placed in a job of equal grade shall receive saved grade until such time as that employee fails to bid or apply for a position in the employee’s former wage level. The obligation hereinabove set forth shall not be construed to, in any way, abridge the right of the Employer to make such changes.
