Non-Production License. A non-production license is defined as covering development, quality assurance, passive tenant, or all tenants that are not used for production purposes.
Non-Production License. If Software is licensed to Customer under a Non-Production License (such as a Beta license), Customer agrees that, NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY ELSEWHERE IN THIS AGREEMENT:
(i) Customer may use Non-Production Software for non-production evaluation purposes only. Use in a production environment is strictly prohibited;
(ii) Non-Production Software is provided on an "as is" basis, with no warranties of any kind. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT NON-PRODUCTION SOFTWARE IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT AND IS PROVIDED FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES AND MAY CONTAIN SIGNIFICANT ERRORS, DEFECTS, OR BUGS, AND THAT THE SOFTWARE MAY NOT FUNCTION AS INTENDED. FFT RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO MARKET OR RELEASE A COMMERCIAL VERSION OF THE SOFTWARE;
(iii) FFT has no obligation to provide any support or other assistance for Non-Production Software;
(iv) Customer agrees to evaluate the Non-Production Software and report such evaluation to FFT at times and in a manner agreed to by the parties. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Agreement, FFT shall have the exclusive right to use ideas, information, understandings, and concepts derived from Customer's evaluation of the Non-Production Software without restriction and without compensating Customer therefor; AND
(v) The period of evaluation – the “license term” for a Non-Production License – shall begin upon delivery of such Non-Production Software (and any required authorization codes) to the Licensee, and shall end at the earlier of: (i) the date of general availability of the Software, as determined by FFT; (ii) expiration of the applicable Non-Production Software authorization codes; or (iii) the date the Non-Production License is terminated by FFT. FFT may, at any time, terminate a Non-Production License for any reason and without cause.
Non-Production License. If the Software is made available for non-production use (i.a. Test, Development, Acceptance, Devops, Hot and Cold Standby License, each of them a “Non-production License”), then subject to Customer’s compliance with this Agreement and timely payment of all license fees, Exasol grants to Customer a worldwide, royalty-free, revocable at will, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, subscription to use such Software only during the Term, subject to the common license provisions in Section 4.3, provided that the Software shall be installed and used in a system used solely for software product migration testing, software product pre-production staging, user acceptance testing, hot and cold standby use, testing new data sources, types or use cases, and shall be used only for such non-production use.
Non-Production License. A Non-Production License allows Customer to copy E-Business Server, then install and use it for development and testing purposes.

Online Services Online services are defined as a website or IP address, or ancillary services rendered to you by Syskit to which you are being granted access under this agreement (i.e., Subscriptions Portal, support tickets, live chat, billing accounts maintained by our ecommerce provider).
Non-Production License. A non-production license permits you to use the Software only for test, development, quality assurance, backup and other similar non-production environments. For the avoidance of doubt, you are prohibited from using the Software for commercial label production if you do not have a single- user license or multi-user license.

Each production license that is purchased with software assurance is granted an equivalent number of non-production activations, which can be utilized solely for non-production farms (as defined in 4.10). The customer agrees that at the end of the software assurance term for the production license the non-production licenses will expire, unless the software assurance is renewed. The customer also agrees that the non- production licenses shall be used solely for non-production farms, and may not be shared or transferred by the customer to any other company.
