This program is entirely voluntary and does not affect either party's rights in any other aspect of the dispute resolution procedures outlined in Section 19. In our voluntary mediation program, we will assign an employee who is not directly involved in the dispute to help both sides reach an agreement. That person has all the rights and protections of a mediator and the process has all of the protections associated with mediation. For example, nothing said in the mediation can be used later in an arbitration or lawsuit.
