OBLIGATIONS OF THE CHAPTER. The Chapter's obligations under this Agreement shall include the following: 3.1 The Chapter shall: a) Promote membership in XXXX. b) Promote and encourage the use of XXXX programs, products and services. c) Comply with the criteria for chapter status in effect based on the applicable time period as set out in Exhibit B. d) Using the current template provided by XXXX, supply an up-to-date chapter member list including member name, organization name, mailing address and email address (i) 30 days after the date this Agreement is signed, and (ii)annually thereafter with the Annual Report required by subsection f, below. e) Supply a preliminary calendar of Chapter events for the upcoming year with the Annual Report required by subsection f, below. f) Using the attached form Exhibit C provided by XXXX, submit an Annual Report certifying compliance by Chapter with the applicable criteria for chapter status set out in Exhibit B no later than January 31 of each year.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE CHAPTER. The Chapter shall construct and maintain the Recreational Trails at its sole expense, in a safe manner utilizing best practices that allows for Recreational Use by the general public for a period of at least 10 years. Before constructing any new Recreational Trails or rerouting on the property, the Chapter shall examine the route of the proposed Recreational Trails with the Landowner, in order to confirm the route is acceptable to the Landowner. Prior to commencing construction of any new Recreational Trails on the Property, the Chapter shall be solely responsible for obtaining any required local, state or federal land use permits. The Chapter shall notify the Landowner of any changes in the Chapter’s contact information listed at the bottom of this agreement, including the name of the primary contact person for the Chapter. The Chapter shall communicate with all users of the Recreational Trails about any temporary trail closure and will communicate this with trails users through available channels. The Chapter shall, at least annually, communicate with the Landowner, its construction/maintenance plans for the Recreational Trails. The Chapter shall encourage all users of the Recreational Trails to report any illicit uses or activities on the Property which are not consistent with the Landowner’s management plan or wishes. TRAIL MANAGEMENT The Recreational Trail shall be built to accommodate Recreational Use and as approved by the RTP Grant. The tread of the trail shall not exceed ­­­­­_____feet (­___) in width. The Chapter shall be permitted to build bridges, install culverts, grade the tread, install stone or take other steps to improve drainage of the Recreational Trails. The Landowner shall not obstruct or close the Recreational Trails. The Chapter shall have the discretion to temporarily close or otherwise limit access to all or part of the Recreational Trails for public safety or maintenance and repair.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE CHAPTER. The Chapter’s obligations under this Agreement shall include the following: 3.1 Chapter shall: a) Promote membership in TACF and promote member communication and Chapter activities related to these objectives. b) Promote the mission and vision of TACF by assisting TACF in restoration efforts of the American chestnut within their State and accomplish objectives in a manner consistent with TACF Bylaws, Standing Rules, policies and other guidelines. c) Using the current template(s) provided by TACF, submit an Annual Report to include educational and outreach activities and orchard and breeding information as requested. d) Engage in a breeding program in cooperation and consistent with TACF’s science plan. Identify existing natural or wild American chestnuts and preserve varied sources of genetic materials. e) Follow requirements for chapter meetings, election of new officers and presidents as outlined in the TACF Unincorporated Chapter Standing Rules. f) Utilize Chapter-designated funds solely for charitable purposes aligned with the mission of TACF. g) Refrain from the use of the TACF name, logo or platform to pursue any objectives related to political or social advocacy, including partisan politics, support or opposition to government action or controversial legal, political, or social issues or causes. h) Shall not attempt to influence legislation at the federal, state, or local level without written, prior consent of TACF.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE CHAPTER. The chapter's obligations under this Agreement shall include the following:  Promote membership in ASAM;  Address special public policy issues within its geographical area;  Establish and maintain liaison with medical societies and other associations within the state;  Further in other ways the purposes and objectives of the Society;  Ensure valid incorporation under state law;  Maintain tax-exempt status under federal law;  Adopt and follow bylaws by which the affairs of the society are governed;  Develop an active Board of Directors and Policy Committee;  Hold regularly scheduled elections, annual membership, and educational meetings;  Manage the funds of the Society;  Regularly attend Chapter Council calls and meetings;  Communicate regularly with members;  Mobilize chapter members when urgent action is needed;  Communicate members’ needs and concerns to Regional Director, Chapters Council, and ASAM staff;  Respond to ASAM’s calls for action;  Complete survey requests from ASAM National and the Chapters Council;  Respond to request for information from the national office; and  Disseminate ASAM information in a timely fashion to its membership.
