Obligations of the Organiser. 6.1 The Organiser shall procure the organisation and staging of the Event at the Venue at its sole cost and expense in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
6.2 The Organiser confirms that, to the extent applicable in accordance with Schedule 1, it shall be responsible for:
6.2.1 arranging the attendance of and payment for all Event presenters, speakers, stewards, staff and other personnel on public duty employed, engaged or appointed by the Organiser throughout the Event; and
6.2.2 the printing and supply of flyers, posters, programmes, admission tickets, stationery, publicity material and advertisements in local and national press which shall bear the Event Marks.
6.3 The Organiser shall use all reasonable endeavours to deliver or ensure the delivery of each and all of the Sponsorship Rights to the Sponsor.
6.4 To the extent applicable in accordance with Schedule 1, the Organiser shall:
6.4.1 ensure that all relevant Sponsor signage and advertising to be delivered as part of the Sponsorship Rights is properly in place and operational and not concealed or obscured from view at any time;
6.4.2 use its reasonable endeavours to procure that broadcasters will not use any method (whether existing now or in the future, including live or near-live post-production methods) to alter or change in any way whatsoever any and all Venue advertising and promotion materials (including banners, boards and hoardings) featuring the Sponsor's Marks in any television or streaming coverage of the Event; and
6.4.3 whenever possible, ensure that the Sponsor's Marks will be incorporated into all promotional, advertising and publicity material.
6.5 The Organiser shall comply with all Applicable Laws relevant to its performance of this agreement as well as any conditions attached to any licences or consents issued in connection with the Event including regarding health and safety and crowd security measures at the Venue.
6.6 The Organiser accepts that, regardless of the obligations of the Organiser to promote the Event within the terms of this agreement, the Sponsor shall be entitled to advertise, publicise, promote and otherwise commercially exploit its own products, services, goodwill and reputation through the Sponsor's association with the Event on and subject to the terms of this agreement.
Obligations of the Organiser. The rights of occupation of ORGANISER are limited to the licensed space and licensed period only.
Obligations of the Organiser. 4.1 The Organiser will set up and manage the electronic application process and review of applications.
4.2 Upon decision by the Review Board and confirmation by the Grant Recipient, the Organiser will transfer €2,500 of the Grant to the Grant Recipient via electronic bank transfer within ten working days.
4.3 Upon receipt of the complete Final Report by the CIRSE Office, the Organiser will transfer the remaining €500 of the Grant to the Grant Recipient via electronic bank transfer within ten working days. If the Final Report does not comply with the requirements of point 3.2, the CIRSE Office may request a revision of the report before the bank transfer is made.
4.4 The Organiser does not take any responsibility for the arrangements made between the Grant Recipient and the Hosting Institution.
4.5 The Organiser does not take any responsibility for the education or experience offered by the Hosting Institution to the Grant Recipient, in line with the applicable national regulations.
Obligations of the Organiser. 6.1 The Organiser shall procure the organisation and staging of the Event at its sole cost and expense in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
6.2 The Organiser shall use its reasonable endeavours to deliver or ensure the delivery of each and all of the Sponsorship Rights to the Sponsor.
6.3 The Organiser confirms that, whenever possible, it will ensure that the Sponsor’s Marks will be present in accordance with this Agreement and that the Sponsor’s Marks are incorporated into all promotional, advertising and publicity material.
Obligations of the Organiser. A. The Organiser will organise, promote and commercialise the Series as set out herein serving the best interests of chess, complying with all applicable and mandatory provisions of the Regulations.
B. The Organiser is obliged to provide the Prize Fund of €1,440,000 to FIDE, as described in the Regulations.
C. The Organiser is obliged to provide logistical and hospitality support, as described in the Regu- lations.
D. The Organiser is obliged to provide the conditions for play, as described in the Regulations.
E. If the Series does not take place due to Force Majeure, and notice in writing of such cancella- tion or of the Series’ not taking place is given by the Organiser to FIDE and the Players, the parties agree that they shall all be relieved of their respective obligations under this Agreement in relation to the Series without any party having any further liability to the other parties.
Obligations of the Organiser. (a) To act as the Principal in undertaking the planning, marketing, organisation, and the management of the Events.
(b) To provide the Website that facilitates registration onto an Event with the payment of the Registration Fee and enables any potential Participant to nominate the Charity for their Fundraising, having agreed to, and accepted, the Conditions of Entry relating to that Event.
(c) To obtain agreement and authorisation from each Charity Participant at the time of Registration for the Organiser to pass to the Charity sufficient details set out within the Event registration form, and also for the Charity to subsequently make contact with that Charity Participant by phone, e mail, or mail specifically, and only, in respect of their participation in an Event and the Fundraising for the Charity, or as otherwise authorised by the Charity Participant.
(d) To provide the Charity with relevant details of each Charity Participant on a timely basis in a secure manner.
(e) To ensure that all relevant permissions that are reasonably required to operate each Event are obtained.
(f) To adopt industry best practice in terms of the Participant preparation information, safety measures and procedures surrounding the delivery and operation of the Events, and to produce a risk assessment for each Event and make this available to the Charity at an appropriate time if requested.
(g) For Listed Charities, the Organiser agrees to appoint the Charity as an Agent in respect of marketing the Events and the Series to the supporters of the Charity.
(h) To ensure that a Tour Operator Liability Insurance policy is fully active and includes public liability cover of least £10 million and will be retained throughout 2025.
(i) To indemnify the Charity in respect of any costs, claims, loss or liability suffered by the Charity in respect of the Events (including reasonable legal costs and disbursements) resulting from: 1) any material breach by the Organiser of any of the terms of the Agreement; 2) directly or indirectly from the death, injury, illness caused to a Charity Participant on an Event or other person where such is caused by the negligent act or omission of the Organiser, its employees, agents, suppliers and/or sub- contractors in the provision of the itinerary and services associated with an Event.
(j) To act as ‘Data Controller’ in respect of Participant data, and to pass in a secure manner, sufficient and relevant data to the Charity, who is defined as a ‘Recipient’ o...
