Time for Commencement and Completion The term (Initial Term) of this Agreement will begin on the Effective Date and expire on ______________________, 20___. University will have the option to renew this Agreement for _______ (___) additional ______ (____) year terms (each a Renewal Term). The Initial Term and each Renewal Term are collectively referred to as the Term.
Requirement to Commence Work The Contractor shall under all circumstances commence work under this Contract no later than ten days after the Proceed Order Date of the Proceed Order.
Procurement of Small Works Works estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,150,000 equivalent, may be procured under lump-sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three (3) qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation. The invitation shall include a detailed description of the works, including basic specifications, the required completion date, a basic form of agreement acceptable to the Association, and relevant drawings, where applicable. The award shall be made to the contractor who offers the lowest price quotation for the required work, and who has the experience and resources to complete the contract successfully. Commencement of Negotiations Within five (5) days of satisfaction of the public notice requirement, and not later than forty-five (45) days following submission of the proposal, negotiations shall commence at a mutually acceptable time and place for the purpose of considering changes in this Agreement.
Commencement and Completion The Work shall commence on _______________, 20__ and shall be complete in accordance with this Agreement without delay on ______________, 20__. The term “day”, used throughout this Agreement, refers to calendar days. Contractor shall not be entitled to any additional compensation for any Permitted Delays. If this Agreement is not signed and returned to the Owner before any work commences, this Agreement will be considered as accepted as presented to the Contractor.
Commencement of Coverage Coverage under the provisions of this article shall apply to regular full-time and regular part-time employees who work 15 regular hours or more per week and shall commence on the first day of the calendar month immediately following the completion of the employee's probationary period.
