Work Stages. 1. The Designer shall provide the design services for the following: - 3D & 2D design - Lighting design (including focussing of lights) 2. The Designer shall act as the Lead Exhibition Designer co-ordinating and integrating all exhibition design works. This will include but not limited to the following works: - 3D works - 2D works - Lighting - Acoustic - Audio Visual - AV consultancy (to be appointed at Scheme Design) - Interactives/IT/multi media - Services - Structural - Others to be defined 3. The Designer will be required to propose lighting methods and layouts. Where existing fittings are to be used the designer must supply a plan to the V&A showing location of fittings on track and indicate which object(s) they are lighting. 4. Where there are AV, IT or other interactive elements of the exhibition in their scope of work, the Designer will be responsible for all aspects of production, projection, installation and dismantling. 5. The Designer must consider any acoustic implications of the design and ensure that sound spill into other galleries, adjacent to or above the exhibition is kept to a minimum. In addition to the duties stated in the Conditions of Contract, 1. The Designer will be required to follow the Work Stages described in Appendix 7 and provide the deliverables listed in Appendix 7A at end of Work Stage presentation 2. In addition to the consultants listed in Appendix 1, the Designer will be working with the key V&A team listed in Appendix 4. 3. In carrying out the service, the Designer will comply with the requirements of the V&A Museum listed in Appendices 9 to 14 (inclusive). 4. The Designer will be responsible for preparing specifications and full working drawings for the tender documents for construction contractors, and will be expected to liaise with and advise the V&A on the invitations to tender for construction and the final appointment of the construction contractor. The contract will be in two phases: Phase 1, Recording condition of site, setting out and build of installation. Phase 2; pull out at close of exhibition and re-instatement. 5. The Designer will submit plans to the V&A Health and Safety Officer and Fire Officer and to the relevant Statutory Authorities for approval. 6. The Designer will be responsible for supervising the construction and installation of the exhibition both on and off site. 7.   • WORK STOPPAGES It shall be a violation of this Agreement for the Union to engage in a strike or work stoppage against the State of Maryland. The Union shall forfeit its status as the exclusive representative of employees in this bargaining unit if the Union engages in a strike or work stoppage against the State of Maryland.

  • Work Standards The Contractor shall execute its responsibilities by following and applying at all times the highest professional and technical guidelines and standards. If the State becomes dissatisfied with the work product of or the working relationship with those individuals assigned to work on this Contract, the State may request in writing the replacement of any or all such individuals, and the Contractor shall grant such request.

  • WORK STOPPAGE There has not been, and there is not currently, any labour trouble which is having a Material Adverse Effect or could reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • NO WORK STOPPAGES 5. It is mutually agreed and understood that during the period this Agreement is in force and effect the Union will not authorize or engage in any strike, slowdown or work stoppage. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement for an employee to honor a primary picket line sanctioned by the Central Labor Council or the Building and Construction Trades Council; provided however, that an employee shall first notify an appropriate supervisor of the employee's intended actions.   • General Scope of Work The Scope of Work and projected level of effort required for these SERVICES is described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and by this reference made a part of this AGREEMENT. The General Scope of Work was developed utilizing performance based contracting methodologies.

  • Development Work The Support Standards do not include development work either (i) on software not licensed from CentralSquare or (ii) development work for enhancements or features that are outside the documented functionality of the Solutions, except such work as may be specifically purchased and outlined in Exhibit 1. CentralSquare retains all Intellectual Property Rights in development work performed and Customer may request consulting and development work from CentralSquare as a separate billable service.

  • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.

  • Project Work Plan The Statement of Work is the formal document incorporated into the Grant. The Project Work Plan documents how the Grantee will achieve the performance measures outlined in the Grant. Changes to the Statement of Work require an amendment. Project Work Plans may be changed with written approval from PEI and the Grantee.

  • Scope of Work For the 2022/2023 Grant Period, the Provider will maintain a victim services program that will be available to provide direct services to victims of crime who are identified by the Provider or are presented to the Provider, as specified in the Provider’s 2022/2023 Grant Application as approved by the OAG and incorporated herein by reference.

  • OF WORK The normal hours of work for an employee are not a guarantee of work per day or per week, or a guarantee of days of work per week. The normal hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7%) hours per day, and seventy-five (75) hours in any period. The normal daily tour shall consist of seven and one-half hours, exclusive of a one-half hour unpaid meal period. Employees shall be entitled to a fifteen (15) minute paid break during each half of the normal daily tour, at a time designated by the Employer. Employees required for reporting purposes shall remain at work for a period of up to fifteen (15) minutes which shall be unpaid. Should the reporting time extend beyond fifteen ( I 5) minutes however, the entire period shall be considered for the purposes of payment. Requests for change in posted work schedules must be submitted in writing and by the employee willing to exchange days off or shifts and are subject to the discretion of the Administrator or her designate. In any event, it is understood that such a change initiated by the employee and approved by the Employer shall not result in overtime compensation or payment or any other claims on the Employer by an employee under the terms of this t Where there is a change to Daylight Savings from Standard Time or vice-versa, an employee who is scheduled and works a full shift shall be paid for a seven and one-half (7.5) hour tour rather than the actual hours worked. The Employer will endeavour to accommodate requests by employees for specific days off and also requests for changes in posted time schedules once the schedule has been posted. Shift schedules shall be posted two (2) weeks in advance and shall cover a minimum of a four (4) week period. The following shall apply to full-time employees: During each pay period, two (2) consecutive days off will be scheduled. Schedules may provide for more than (5) consecutive days of work, but not more than seven (7) consecutive days of work without days off, as long as four (4) days off are scheduled in each fourteen (14) day period. Except as outlined below, meal time of one-half hour shall be scheduled away from the floor during the employee's shift whether day, evening or night. Where there is only one registered employee on duty, it is recognized that this is not possible. Should an employee be recalled to duty during meal time, additional time shall be provided later in the shift.
