Official Time for Employees. Employees who are otherwise in a duty status will be granted official time to prepare and present appeals and grievances under the Negotiated Grievance Procedure in accordance with Article 6. Employees will be released at the earliest opportunity consistent with workload requirements. Official Time for Employees. A. Employees who are otherwise in a duty status will be granted a reasonable amount of official time to participate in the following activities:
Official Time for Employees. Employees shall be granted official time, consistent with Section 4.4(A), by their first-level supervisor or acting supervisor in amounts reasonable and necessary (See Appendix A - Glossary), to meet with Union Representatives.

  • Holiday Pay for Employees Laid Off An employee who is laid off at the close of business the day before a holiday who has worked not less than five (5) previous consecutive work days shall be paid for the holiday.

  • Part-time Employees Eligible for Holidays 367. Part-time employees who regularly work a minimum of twenty (20) hours in a bi-weekly pay period shall be entitled to holiday pay on a proportionate basis. 368. Regular full-time employees are entitled to 8/80 or 1/10 time off when a holiday falls in a bi-weekly pay period, therefore, part-time employees, as defined in the immediately preceding paragraph, shall receive a holiday based upon the ratio of 1/10 of the total hours regularly worked in a bi-weekly pay period. Holiday time off shall be determined by calculating 1/10 of the hours worked by the part-time employee in the bi-weekly pay period immediately preceding the pay period in which the holiday falls. The computation of holiday time off shall be rounded to the nearest hour.

  • Transportation for Employees Transportation will be provided to employees who are required to work other than their normal working hours, and who must travel to or from their home during the hours between 11:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. and when convenient public transportation or other transportation facilities are not available. An employee shall be reimbursed for the cost of commercial transportation within their headquarters area, upon presentation of receipts.

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION PCA Article B.3 does not apply in School District No. 34 (Abbotsford).

  • Compensation for Employees Employees shall receive compensation at the biweekly or hourly rate for the range and step or flat rate assigned to the class in which they are employed.
