AMOUNT OF OFFICIAL TIME. The Union representative’s supervisor may approve official time for the purposes set forth in Section 4.3 in amounts that are necessary to accomplish the purpose for which official time is requested.

AMOUNT OF OFFICIAL TIME. The Employer, normally the Union representative’s first level supervisor, will approve official time for the purposes set forth in Section 27-3 in amounts that are reasonably necessary to accomplish the purpose for which official time is requested. If the use of official time is denied, the Employer will notify the Union in writing of the reason for the denial and the approximate time when the official time will be granted provided the reason for the official time request is still valid. The official time must be granted within a reasonable time.
AMOUNT OF OFFICIAL TIME a. a. The Employer agrees to grant official time to the following recognized Union officials consistent with Article 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, and the following table: President - 60 hours per pay period [p.p.p.] 2 Chief Stewards - 60 hours p.p.p. each 3 Senior Stewards - 20 hours p.p.p. each 2 Secretaries - Total pool of 20 hours p.p.p 9 Stewards - Total pool of 100 hours p.p.p.
AMOUNT OF OFFICIAL TIME. Up to 40 hours of official time will be granted each calendar year to each official of the Union representative under this Article, provided that the work load is not so unusually heavy as to preclude the release of the bargaining unit employee from other officially assigned duties. The parties recognize that the IAMAW Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxxxxxxxx Education and Technology Center in Placid Harbor, Maryland provides approved training and does not require the Employer to pay for registration, travel, lodging or per diem. The Union also shall be granted a bank of 120 hours of official time per calendar year administered by the Union, so that some Union officials may attend more than one class in a year. Individual Union officials may not use time from the bank in consecutive years, and they are limited to a maximum total of 80 hours of official time each year. The Employer will not be responsible for any training costs or travel related to such training. All training that is jointly sponsored or attended shall not count against the 40 hours. The Employer may, at its discretion, allow Union officials additional official time for purposes of attending training when additional time may be justified and accomplished without adverse impact upon workload. Approval for IAMAW Union Education and Training at the Placid Harbor Center in Maryland cannot be rescinded except in an emergency, and then only in consultation with CA/PPT/PMO and the Union Training Coordinator.

  • Amount of Funds; Application of Funds Lender may, at any time, collect and hold Funds in an amount up to, but not in excess of, the maximum amount a lender can require under RESPA.   • Termination of Agreement for Unavailability of Authority or Federal Funds It is the intent and understanding of the Parties that this Agreement is contingent upon the availability of Authority or Federal funds or the receipt by the Authority of Federal funds. If Authority funds or Federal funds approved or obligated by the Authority in connection with this Agreement are at any time rendered unavailable, the Authority shall then have the right to terminate this Agreement by the giving of a written notice, the basis, and the effective date of the termination to the Contractor. In the event of termination under this section for lack of Authority or Federal funds, the Contractor shall be entitled to receive payment for Products and Services incurred under this Agreement prior to the effective date of termination.
