If disturbed, the open space will be replanted using a native seed mix consisting of native grasses and wildflowers per the Improvement Plans. This reseeding will be completed by a professional landscaping company during the appropriate growing season to ensure establishment of the seed. The native seed mix will require little maintenance. The riparian zone along the canal will remain native and act as a protective buffer zone between the canal waterway and the residential development. The open space adjacent to the Grand Teton Canal must be clear of woody vegetation so as to allow vehicle travel along both sides of the canal for maintenance, debris removal, inspection, and flood fighting. Maintenance of the open space along the Grand Teton Canal will be completed by the Developer until the public improvements have been installed and accepted by the City.
