Operation of Ordinary Working Hours. The ordinary hours of work for full time Employees are 38 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:30 pm. An ordinary day is 7.6 hours. These hours may be arranged in accordance with this Clause 18 to provide flexible working arrangements but will not exceed 12 hours in any one (1) day or 152 hours in any 4 week period. Corporate administrative employees will generally work their ordinary hours within usual office hours between, 8.30 am – 5.00 pm, with a 30 minute break. Flexible start and finishing times may be agreed on an adhoc or regular basis (within the normal span of hours) with the employee/s manager or supervisor. Shift arrangements can provide a schedule of working hours to ensure that the Employersoperational requirements are met given that the Melbourne Airport is a 24/7 operation. The Employers and Employees agree to consult about alternative working arrangements within each Department or work area. Alternative working arrangements must have regard to the operational requirements of the business. Subject to any provisions in this Clause 18 which deal with the issue, alternative work arrangements may only be introduced where they are agreed by the Employer and majority of Employees in the relevant department or work area.
