Operational Service basically includes scheduled maintenance tasks, except for error correction work, which is part of the Maintenance, in particular the following services: o Update service for major and minor versions o Node Management o Adding and installation of nodes o Adding and removal of spare nodes to a data base instance o Cluster upgrade o Database instance management o Creation / removal of database instances o Starting / stopping of database instances o Setup of a system-internal backup of the data base instances o Support for the setup of an external backup of the data base instances o Database restoration upon request o Monthly system usage reporting (available on the support-portal) Customer shall reserve sufficient storage space for the backup in the Cluster or on external storage media. Reports about system usage require access to the statistics system tables in Exasuite.
Operational Service. Efforts associated with the normal day to day operation of campus infrastructure. This work includes: • routine checks of building equipment and infrastructure • bleeding systems • chemical treatment and testing • Routine locking/unlocking doors during normal working

The Operational Service includes the following: - Update Service: Installation and deployment of releases (major and minor) - User Management (for operation and monitoring) - Node Management Adding and installation of nodes Stand by node handling - Cluster upgrade - Database Instance Management Creation / removal of database instances Start / stop of database instances Implementation of backup strategy Database restore upon request Database usage reporting (monthly)
3.2.2 External data backup (offline backup) is not included in the scope of service. The system-internal data backup requires that Customer reserves enough storage in the Cluster for the backup.

3.2.4 Operational Service times are Monday-Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 (UK local time), except UK public holidays. On the 24th and on the 31st December the following support times apply: 09:00 to 12:00. If Operational Services 24x7 is agreed, service times are 24x7.
3.2.5 If no operational service is purchased or if services are to be performed outside of the Service Hours, then services can be ordered on an ad hoc basis, subject to T&M hourly rates.

b) Within the scope of service levels “Startup” and “Standard”, the service times of operational services correspond the service times defined in 2.6. If Customer wishes operational services outside the agreed service times, the above mentioned services can be ordered individually on T&M basis. The service times of “Premium” level are 24x7.
