Organizational Leave Days. Five (5) days per year shall be available to the Association for use to attend conferences related to Association affairs. These days may be used by only two (2) Association members at any one point in time. It is further understood that all such leave days shall have the prior approval of the Association, which shall notify the superintendent at least seven (7) days prior to the days such leave time is to be taken. No accumulation of organizational leave days is permitted.

Organizational Leave Days. The Association shall be granted up to fourteen (14) days released time per year for use by administrators participating in professional organization activities and conferences. Any absence of a particular administrator will need to be approved by the immediate supervisor and Superintendent at least one (1) week in advance of the absence. Three (3) additional days may be granted by the Superintendent. An administrator shall not be eligible to use more than two (2) consecutive Association Days. No more than six (6) administrators may be gone on Association leave days during any given day.

  • Organizational Leave The Board of Education will provide for leaves of absence without pay to elected officers or appointed representatives of Local No. 284. Employees acting as business agent must take an unpaid leave of absence from their position.

  • Educational Leave Leave without pay may be granted for educational leave for the duration of actual attendance in an educational program.

  • Personal Leave Days Section 1. All employees after completion of six (6) months of service shall be entitled to receive personal leave days in the following manner:

  • Additional Leave Any further leave granted beyond the normal thirty-seven (37) week period, or the forty-two (42) week period for special circumstances, will be unpaid leave without benefits.

  • Additional Leaves Should an employee require additional time to care for a gravely ill family member, additional leaves may be granted beyond the eight (8) week period specified above. Such additional leave shall be pursuant to Article 13.02

  • Professional Leave Professional leave without pay will be granted to full-time and regular part- time employees who are elected to or appointed to the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the College of Nurses or the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario or the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario subject to the following limitations:
