Other Teaching Experience Sample Clauses

Other Teaching Experience. (a) Teaching experience in a University or Community College shall be recognized under L6.03 (above), where the teacher had a degree and/or was deemed qualified by the institution. (b) Teaching experience other than that stipulated in L6.03 or L6.04 (a) may be recognized for placement on theBasic Salary Schedule” at the discretion of the Director or designate.
Other Teaching ExperienceFull credit shall be granted for teaching experience: a. in government inspected schools in Canada, the U.S.A. and the Commonwealth; b. Provincial Government Schools or similar provincial institutions; c. Department of National Defence Schools; d. as a full-time member of a Faculty of Education in Canada or in any other member of the Commonwealth or in the U.S.A. recognized by the Ministry of Education. e. in government inspected schools from outside Canada, the U.S.A. and the Commonwealth in accordance with the evaluation by the Superintendent of such experience relative to the experience referred to in Article B.21.5.a, following a meeting with the Association president or his/her designate. Such credit shall be granted upon presentation of acceptable proof of such experience.
Other Teaching Experience. At the sole discretion of the Joint Salary Review Committee, credit may be granted for teaching experience in public schools, universities, colleges, vocational or post- secondary schools in other countries.
Other Teaching Experience. This will include only teaching experience related to the position at Montana State University - Northern. For the purpose of determining college teaching experience, graduate teaching assistant experience shall be computed at the rate of two (2) years of assistantship being equal to one (1) year full-time college teaching. A maximum of two (2) years of graduate teaching assistantships may be counted to result in a maximum of one (1) point.

  • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates.   • Work Experience A sabbatical leave may be granted for contracted work or externship with other educational institutions, government agencies, corporations, or foundations related to the applicant’s discipline. A detailed, specific plan must be submitted by the applicant and approved by the Salary and Leaves Committee as likely to improve the applicant’s teaching effectiveness, strengthen the College’s academic program, or otherwise bring a clear benefit to students.

  • Expertise Such Member alone, or together with its representatives, possesses such expertise, knowledge and sophistication in financial and business matters generally, and in the type of transactions in which the Company proposes to engage in particular, that such Member is capable of evaluating the merits and economic risks of acquiring and holding the Units, and that such Member is able to bear all such economic risks now and in the future;

  • Investment Experience Holder understands that the purchase of this Warrant and its underlying securities involves substantial risk.   • Teaching Load 11-1 The parties recognize that the number of students, the number of preparations, and the amount of planning time are related to student performance. 11-2 CLASS SIZE 11-2-1 The parties recognize that class size is related to economics and that reduction of class size is faced with fiscal constraints. The parties further recognize that it is not feasible at this time to set general numerical limitations upon class size because of physical space available, special programs, special student needs, attendance area variances, differences in scheduling systems, busing, and because of other variable causes affecting class size. Nevertheless, the parties shall make reasonable effort to maintain class size at reasonable, workable, and educationally effective levels in all situations. 11-3 TEACHER LOAD 11-3-1 Teaching load shall be defined as the number of separate class preparations that a teacher has per school day as delineated in the course description guide.

  • Prior Experience The teacher is responsible for providing proof of experience satisfactory to the School Division in accordance with this article.

  • Benchmarking 19.1 The Parties shall comply with the provisions of Framework Schedule 12 (Continuous Improvement and Benchmarking) in relation to the benchmarking of any or all of the Goods and/or Services.
