OEM may request out-of-warranty repair by contacting the currently assigned SSI customer service representative supporting OEM to request a Returned Material Authorization (“RMA”) number and provide the following information: (i) the serial number of the Product from which the failed Product, or Part originated; (ii) a brief, written description of the failure, such description to include how the failure was discovered, where the failure was discovered, and what action was taken by OEM or the third-party service organization to remedy the situation, and (iii) the location where the replacement part is to be shipped. OEM should also indicate whether a failure analysis is requested.

For Products which fail to conform to their Specifications after the warranty period has expired but during the term of this agreement, HP may return such Products to ION Networks, Inc. for repair or replacement at ION Networks, Inc. then current prices and terms after obtaining an RMA number. Out of Warranty Repair. 13.1 ODS shall provide out-of-warranty repair and refurbishment services for Equipment at the then prevailing rates if such Equipment is not covered by an ODS service and support program pursuant to Section 11.3 of this Agreement. SAIC shall issue an Order authorizing repair and/or refurbishment and will ship Products to ODS freight prepaid. ODS shall complete services and return Products to SAIC within thirty (30) days of receipt. SAIC shall have risk of loss until returned Products are received by ODS. ODS shall have risk of loss from receipt of returned Products until repaired or replaced Products are received by SAIC.
