Common use of Paid Education Leave Clause in Contracts

Paid Education Leave. a) The Company agrees to pay into a special fund three cents ($0.03) per hour, per employee for all compensated hours for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Said paid education leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Such moneys to be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established by the National Union, Unifor and sent by the Company to the following address: Unifor Leadership Training Fund, 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, X0X 0X0. The Company will provide the Plant Chairperson a copy of the information related to funding on a quarterly basis for the plant.
