Park Design. The City has reviewed and approved a preliminary concept plan for the improvements to be located on the Community Park, attached hereto as Exhibit I-1 and incorporated by reference as if set forth herein. The Parties shall use commercially reasonable efforts to complete 50% design plans for the Community Park improvements (the “Preliminary Plans”) that are (i) substantially consistent with the approved concept plan attached as Exhibit I-1 and (ii) within the amount of the Estimated Park Budget (defined below in Section 3.11.2.3) attached as Exhibit I-2, within six months of the Effective Date of this Agreement. The City shall reimburse Developers for the costs associated with the preparation of the Preliminary Plans in an amount not to exceed $100,000, which such amount shall be credited against the City’s total financial contribution for the Community Park of $ 798,968.

Park Design. 30% Construction Documents The design services described below include the services needed to produce 30% Construction Documents and Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for the park master plan. The purpose for producing a stand-alone 30% Construction Documents plan set is to take the park master plan to a more detailed configuration that includes preliminary engineering for the park site and buildings design. Doing this level of preliminary design for the park design ensures that: • Construction cost estimates can be produced at a detail that help maximize the park elements that fit within the phase one budget • Future utility infrastructure will follow phase one is pre-sized and stubbed out where possible • Construction conflicts to phase one park elements during construction of future park elements are minimized or eliminated • The environmental permitting process can be conducted based on the updated site plan produced during the 30% Construction Document process A description of the services to produce the 30% Construction Documents is below: Barge will use the site Master Plan, programming information, and input from the City team to refine the Master Plan into 30% Construction Documents for the park master plan. Following are the steps in this phase:
Park Design. XXXXXX’X park design concept shall reflect the park program (which contains descriptions of the amenities to be offered) to be provided by OC Parks. Whether XXXXXX elects to proceed under PB Option 2 or PB Option 1, XXXXXX shall bear all costs of the conceptual design and cost estimate, which is separate from the $850,000 total for park in-lieu fees ($539,000) and community benefit fees ($311,000) required under PB Option 1.
Park Design. The Parties agree that the City Council approval of the Tentative Maps shall constitute and demonstrate a legislative finding that the size and location of the proposed Public Park is consistent with the Specific Plan. However, the Parties understand, acknowledge and agree that the City’s current intent for the design of the improvements for the Public Park varies from those improvements shown on the Tentative Maps, and is subject to further amendment and final approval by the City Council. The Parties agree to work together in good faith to design the physical improvements to the Public Park in a manner that satisfies the City’s desire to provide recreational space and other amenities for use by future residents within the Subdistrict, as well as existing residents from the surrounding community, and such agreed upon and approved improvements shall be referred to herein as the “Public Park Improvements”. The Parties shall also cooperate in an effort to craft a construction phasing plan for the construction of the Public Park Improvements that is acceptable to all Parties.

  • Research Design The data generated by excavations at the prehistoric site(s) will be used to examine at least three topics: (1) chronology; (2) technology; and (3) subsistence practices. Insights into changing patterns of community organization may also be granted, as may insights into changes in social organization. The data recovered will then be compared to data from other regional sites.

  • Program Design The County Human Resources Department will operate a Catastrophic Leave Bank which is designed to assist any County employee who has exhausted all paid accruals due to a serious or catastrophic illness, injury, or condition of the employee or family member. The program establishes and maintains a Countywide bank wherein any employee who wishes to contribute may authorize that a portion of his/her accrued vacation, compensatory time, holiday compensatory time or floating holiday be deducted from those account(s) and credited to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Employees may donate hours either to a specific eligible employee or to the bank. Upon approval, credits from the Catastrophic Leave Bank may be transferred to a requesting employee's sick leave account so that employee may remain in paid status for a longer period of time, thus partially ameliorating the financial impact of the illness, injury, or condition. Catastrophic illness or injury is defined as a critical medical condition, a long-term major physical impairment or disability which manifests itself during employment.

  • The Design Builder shall maintain an occurrence form commercial general liability policy or policies insuring against liability arising from premises (including loss of use thereof), personal injury or death, advertising injury, liability insured under an insured contract (including the tort liability of another assumed in a business contract) occurring on or in any way related to the premises or occasioned by reason of the operations of Design-Builder. Such coverage shall be written on an ISO occurrence form (ISO Form CG 00 01 12 07 or a policy form providing equivalent coverage) in an amount of not less than $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and not less than $2,000,000.00 aggregate. Unless otherwise provided, the policy or policies of insurance providing the liability coverage shall include:

  • Project Design Applicants must design a project that provides access to health services to enable eligible women and men experiencing health needs to secure and maintain safe and accessible quality screening and diagnostic services, comprehensive family planning, and/ or other women’s health services.

  • Final Design A.4.1.   • Pavement Design If applicable, the Engineer shall incorporate the pavement design developed by the State for this project. If the pavement design is not available, the State may request the Engineer to perform pavement design and submit to State for review and approval.

  • Plan Design The flexible benefits plan is a cafeteria-style benefits program wherein the County makes a contribution toward the Flexible Benefits Plan for each eligible employee to be allocated during the employee's active employment. The County contribution is distributed by the employee among the menu of benefit options listed below, the specific details and administration of which are set forth in the plan brochures: "Core" Benefits: • Health insurance • County basic life and AD&D insurance Optional Benefits: • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Supplemental life insurance • Supplemental accidental death and dismemberment insurance (AD&D) • Flexible spending accounts for pre-tax reimbursement of qualified medical and/or dependent day care expenses. Account credits must be used during the plan year in which they are earned for expenses incurred during the same plan year. • The plan may be modified upon written notice by the County. This plan includes for eligible employees pre-tax contributions for all monies paid toward health, dental, vision and/or voluntary AD&D plans.

  • 253 Design Change (a) “Design Change” is a change in work and/or materials shown in the Schedule of Items and described in Plans or specifications that has been mutually agreed to in writing or ordered by Contracting Officer. Changes of a minor nature (such as adjustment in horizontal and vertical alignment, that do not exceed specified tolerance, necessary to maintain or balance earthwork quantities substantially as designed) and variation in quantities, as described in B5.251, shall not be considered Design Changes.
