Part-Time Casuals Sample Clauses

Part-Time Casuals. A part-time casual employee is not regularly scheduled to work. A part-time casual is guaranteed four (4) hours/day on days worked, but not guaranteed any number of hours/week. Part-time casual employees cannot be scheduled as supple- mental employees to the full-time workforce, but they can fill in for absent full-time employees prior to the use of full-time employees on overtime. When a part-time casual employee who is working in a replacement capacity for an absent full- time employee returns from his/her route, extra work will be first offered to available full-time employees prior to being offered to the returning part-time casual employee.
