Part-time Nurses Only. The Employer agrees that part-time nurses may pay, through payroll deductions, for full premium costs of the ONA sponsored benefit program, provided that an individual Employer’s systems can accommodate this. The ONA sponsored benefit plan will provide the Employer with an administrative rebate, if any. The Employer will make no payroll deductions for such benefits in months in which the employee has insufficient earnings. In this circumstance, the employee is responsible for making the full payment to the ONA sponsored benefit plan. The Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Employer against any claims or liabilities arising or resulting from the operation of this Article. The parties agree to give the Hospital appropriate time to establish the payroll deduction process. Once established the payroll deduction process for part-time benefits through the ONA sponsored program will be communicated to the Union and the part-time nurses. The Hospital will facilitate access to part-time nurses by providing available benefit literature and other communications as appropriate.

Part-time Nurses Only. Part-time Nurses will receive premium pay for all hours worked on a scheduled second consecutive and all subsequent consecutive weekends until a weekend off is received, save and except where:
Part-time Nurses Only. (i) Part-time Nurses will receive premium pay for all hours worked on a scheduled second consecutive and all subsequent consecutive weekends until a weekend off is received, save and except where: (a) such weekend has been worked by the Nurse to satisfy specific days off requested by such Nurse; or (b) such Nurse has requested weekend work; or (c) such weekend is scheduled/worked as a result of an exchange of shifts with another Nurse. (ii) Where a part-time Nurse is called in to work a tour(s) on a scheduled weekend off she/he will be paid premium pay for all hours worked on the tour(s). The Nurse will not receive premium pay for the subsequent scheduled weekend worked.

  • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees ‌ (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee. (b) A part-time employee working less than the normal days per week of a full-time employee, and who is required to work other than their regularly scheduled workdays, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the days so worked up to and including the normal workdays in the workweek of a full-time employee. (c) Overtime rates shall apply to hours worked in excess of (a) and (b) above.

  • PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.

  • Part-time Scheduling Subject to Section B of this Article, the Employer and the Association endorse the principle that less than full time equivalent ("FTE") positions shall, within reason, be expected to work a biweekly work period that equates to an eighty (80) hour work period multiplied by the position's FTE. (e.g., 80 hours @ .75 = 60 hours). It is further understood by both parties that ASF Members assigned to less than a FTE position may be required, during the peak work periods, to exceed their normal biweekly work period. FLSA non-exempt ASF Members who work a part-time schedule will earn overtime for hours worked in excess of forty (40) in a work week. The Employer agrees to review any ASF position that is less than one (1) FTE if the Association can demonstrate that the position has regularly been required to work a work period that substantially exceeds the normal work period as defined above, and adjust the FTE of the respective position as deemed appropriate by the Employer.

  • Benefits for Part-Time Employees ‌ A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or part by the Hospital, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call back pay, reporting pay, responsibility allowance, jury and witness duty, bereavement pay, and maternity supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his/her regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

  • Part-Time A part-time employee is an employee who regularly works less than forty (40) hours per week. The Agency shall not use part-time employees to avoid full-time benefits.
