Education Increments. The Hospital will pay the following educational increments when a Nurse is employed in a capacity in which she/he is required by the Hospital to have any of the following educational qualifications for the performance of her/his job:
(i) Post Graduate Course in Nursing – $15.00 per month. (ii) N.U.A. (Nursing Unit Administration) – $15.00 per month. To be paid to Assistant Head Nurses only.

Education Increments. Teachers shall only submit all required transcripts and necessary paperwork to the Department of Payroll before the 10th of the following months: January and July. Educational increments shall only be paid at the end of January and July of every school year.
Education Increments. An additional $15.00 per month will be paid to a nurse who has obtained a recognized certificate or for successful completion of a recognized course of four (4) or more weeks duration but less than three (3) months recognized by the Ontario Hospital Association or the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario. To qualify such a course or certificate must be agreed upon by the Hospital and Association. Not more than one (1) increment of $15.00 per month will be recognized for any one nurse and only such certificates or courses as are in the Hospital’s opinion required with respect to the Nurse’s position will be recognized.
Education Increments. 8.1 Evaluation of a teacher's university education shall be determined by The Alberta Teachers' Association Teacher Qualifications Service.
8.2 A teacher commencing employment with the Board shall supply to the Board proof of education entitlement or proof of application for education entitlement from the Alberta Teachers’ Association Teacher Qualifications Service within 45 calendar days of the commencement of employment. The interim salary shall be for the grid position of four years of university education at that teachers experience level. If such proof is not submitted within the forty-five (45) calendar days, salary shall be adjusted effective the beginning of the month following submission of the TQS documentation to the Board.
8.3 A teacher claiming additional education entitlement shall supply to the Board proof of such entitlement or proof of application for such entitlement from the Alberta Teachers’ Association Teacher Qualifications Service within 45 calendar days of the first day of school or February 1, whichever is applicable. If such proof is not submitted within the forty-five (45) calendar days, salary shall be adjusted effective the beginning of the month following submission of the TQS documentation to the Board.
8.4 Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Board reserves the right to pay extra for approved religious education.
8.5 Each payroll voucher shall state the teacher's Years of University Education, Years of Teaching Experience and Full Time Equivalency as used to determine salary, and a list of benefits that teacher is accessing.
8.6 The Board will not in any one year pay for increments under any clause of the agreement which should have been claimed in the previous year.
Education Increments. Teachers shall receive education increments on the next scheduled payday that is at least twenty-five (25) days after the teacher has submitted all required transcripts and necessary paperwork to the Department of Human Resources.

The Employer shall provide each Nurse with a statement of income and deductions for income tax purposes Supplementary Slip) which shall include therein the deductions for Association Dues. Any sick leave benefits accumulated and not utilized by November shall be frozen and not supplemented thereafter. Such sick leave benefits, if any, for each Nurse now in the bargaining unit so affected may be utilized thereafter by her in accordance with the sick leave plan, including any payout provisions, in effect from time to time at the Hospital covering full-time Nurses.

The Hospital recognizes the Association as the sole bargaining agent for the Infection Control Nurse, Employee Health and Day Day Care Nurse.
