Education Increments. In addition to the foregoing salaries provided for in Appendix 3 of this Collective Agreement, the following educational increments will be paid:

Education Increments. (a) An additional $15.00 per month will be paid to a nurse who has obtained a recognized certificate or for successful completion of a recognized course of four (4) or more weeks duration but less than three (3) months recognized by the Ontario Hospital Association or the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario. To qualify such a course or certificate must be agreed upon by the Hospital and Association. Not more than one (1) increment of $15.00 per month will be recognized for any one nurse and only such certificates or courses as are in the Hospital’s opinion required with respect to the Nurse’s position will be recognized.
Education Increments. Teachers shall only submit all required transcripts and necessary paperwork to the Department of Payroll before the 10th of the following months: January and July. Educational increments shall only be paid at the end of January and July of every school year.
Education Increments. Teachers shall receive education increments on the next scheduled payday that is at least twenty-five (25) days after the teacher has submitted all required transcripts and necessary paperwork to the Department of Human Resources.

Education Increments. 14.1 Unless on regular duty, Regular Permanent Full-Time Firefighters shall be paid time and one-half for hours required to maintain accreditation by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and/or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Lack of accreditation as an Emergency Medical Technician because of failure of the Town to provide the necessary facilities, etc. shall not deny the employee the salary of Regular Permanent Full-Time Firefighters who are EMT's. However, if lack of maintaining the accreditation is due to the Firefighter's action, then he shall be paid according to the salary schedule for Firefighters who are not EMT's until he again becomes accredited.
