Patent Prosecution Clause Samples
The Patent Prosecution clause outlines the procedures and responsibilities related to obtaining, maintaining, and defending patents arising from the agreement. It typically specifies which party will control the filing and prosecution of patent applications, how costs are allocated, and the level of cooperation required from each party. This clause ensures that intellectual property rights are properly secured and managed, reducing the risk of disputes and clarifying ownership and control over patentable inventions.
