Pay for Sunday work Clause Samples
The 'Pay for Sunday work' clause establishes the requirement for employees to receive additional compensation for hours worked on Sundays. Typically, this clause specifies a premium pay rate—such as time-and-a-half or double time—applied to all hours worked on a Sunday, regardless of the employee's regular schedule. By clearly outlining the entitlement to extra pay for Sunday shifts, the clause ensures fair compensation for work performed outside standard business days and helps address the inconvenience or disruption associated with weekend work.
