Payment for Loss or Damage. You must pay for all loss and damage suffered by UCD as a result of any breach of this Agreement by You or any of your visitors (including family members). This includes but is not limited to additional cleaning costs, replacement keys, repairing or replacing fixtures, fittings or equipment, collecting arrears, paying professional advisors, pursuing court proceedings, administration expenses and income lost by UCD by your failure to vacate the Room when You should have.

Payment for Loss or Damage. 7.1.1 The Tenant shall pay for any losses, damage, any additional cleaning required, key, key fob or lock replacement where needed or any other breach of the Tenant’s obligations and reasonable administrative expenses will be charged. The Tenant will also be liable for any costs relating to any damages caused by visitors invited into the Building. To clarify, any damage to a Room shall be deemed to have been caused by the Tenant of that Room. Damage to the shared facilities and Landlords contents in the Common Parts in any Flat shall be deemed to have been caused jointly by all the tenants of that Flat, and damage to any Common Parts shall be deemed to have been caused by all those tenants who use the Common Parts. 7.1.2 Where the perpetrators cannot be identified (and the Landlord will use reasonable endeavors to identify them), the Tenant may be charged a fair and reasonable proportion of the cost of making good any loss or damage caused, unless the Tenant can demonstrate that it was not in the Building when the damage occurred. 7.1.3 Where additional cleaning is required, the Tenant will first be issued with a warning and given an opportunity to clean. If the Building (or relevant part) is not returned to a satisfactory condition by the given deadline, a charge for additional cleaning will be made. 7.1.4 Any invoices which are raised during the Tenancy Period including but not limited to damages, fines or call outs will be due 7 days after the invoice date unless disputed within 3 working days of the invoice date. These invoices will be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. 7.1.5 The Tenant shall pay for all reasonable and proper costs and expenses (including legal costs and disbursements and fees payable to a surveyor and any value added tax thereon) incurred by the Landlord or Management Company in or in reasonable contemplation of the proceedings in connection with the recovery of arrears of Rent or arising from any breach of the Tenant’s obligations under this Agreement.

Payment for Loss or Damage. 22.1 You must pay for any or all loss or damage we suffer as a result of any breach of this Agreement by you, those living with you or your visitors. This includes (but is not limited to) any costs properly incurred by us in arranging any additional cleaning required, key or lock replacement where needed, collecting arrears, paying professional advisors and in relation to court proceedings. 22.2 Where any damage is caused to any shared areas in the Accommodation or the Communal Areas and the perpetrators cannot be identified (and we will use reasonable endeavours to identify them), we may (acting reasonably) charge you a fair and reasonable proportion of the reasonable cost of making good any loss or damage caused unless you can demonstrate that you were not at the Accommodation or in the Building when the damage occurred. 22.3 You must pay for the full cost of issuing replacement lost/stolen keys/cards (including administrative expenses) to ensure security for all. This charge will be capped at £100 and will have to be paid for by cash, cheque or credit card at the time the new set of keys/card is issued. 22.4 If for any reason you cause us to become liable for Council Tax for the Accommodation (for example, because you are in full time employment or claim social security benefits) then you will repay to us within 14 days of written demand any sums paid by us to the local authority in respect of such Council Tax.

Payment for Loss or Damage. The Contractor shall be entitled to receive from the Owner, in addition to the amount due under the Contract, the amount at which the Owner's interest in restoration of the Work has been appraised, such amount to be paid as the restoration of the Work proceeds and in accordance with the requirements of GC5.3 - APPLICATIONS FOR PAYMENT and GC5.4 – PROGRESS PAYMENTS. In addition the Contractor shall be entitled to receive from the payments made by the insurer the amount of the Contractor's interest in the restoration of the Work.
Payment for Loss or Damage. 7.1 In the event that the Student or the Borrower(s) fails to repair, maintain, or loses the Device any cost in relation thereto, including replacement cost, shall be the responsibility of the Borrower(s) and if not paid shall constitute a just debt owing by the Borrower(s), and if more than one by the Borrowers jointly and severally, and such debt may be recoverable by civil legal action by the Lender.

This includes (but is not limited to), any costs properly and reasonably incurred by us in arranging any additional cleaning or deep cleaning required, issuing replacement lost or stolen keys/cards, repairing or replacing our fixtures, fittings, furniture or equipment, collecting arrears, paying professional advisors, pursuing court proceedings, administration expenses and any income we lose arising from your failure to move out of the Accommodation in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. 5.1.2 Where any damage is caused to the Accommodation or the Communal Areas and we are unable to identify the perpetrators (and we will use reasonable endeavours to identify them), we may (acting reasonably) charge you a fair proportion of the reasonable cost of making good any loss or damage caused unless you can demonstrate that you were not at the Accommodation or in the Hall when the damage occurred. We have set out details of what we would anticipate to be typical charges for repairing common types of damage and additional cleaning in the Student Handbook which can be viewed here: xxx.xx.xx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, but any charges levied would reflect the reasonable costs we incur in remedying the damage caused.

Where any damage is caused to any shared areas in the Accommodation or any communal areas and the perpetrators cannot be identified (and we will use reasonable endeavours to identify them), we may (acting reasonably) charge you a fair and reasonable proportion of the cost of making good any loss or damage caused. 3.12.2. Typical charges for damage and additional cleaning can be found at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xx.xx/Accommodation, the exact amount will depend on the seriousness of the case and could be more than the maximum sum shown in very serious cases. 3.12.3. You must pay for the cost of issuing replacement lost/stolen keys/cards. The charge for the first set of keys lost/stolen is £30 per key/card. This is a nominal amount only and you should be aware that this does not cover the full cost (including administrative expenses) to us of issuing a replacement set of keys/card. This charge will have to be paid for by cash, cheque or credit card at the time the new set of keys/card is issued. If a subsequent set of keys/card is lost/stolen the full cost of a replacement lock and keys necessary to ensure security for all may be charged
