Hot Places. An employee who works for more than one hour in the shade in places where the temperature is raised by artificial means to: between 46 and 54 Celsius 43 cents per hour extra; in excess of 54 Celsius 58 cents per hour extra. Where work continues for more than two hours in temperatures exceeding 54 Celsius, employees shall be entitled to 20 minutes rest after every two hours work without deduction of pay. The temperature shall be determined by the supervisor after consultation with the employees who claim the extra rate.
Hot Places. An FTM who works for more than one hour undercover in places where the temperature is raised by artificial means shall be entitled to the following allowances while working in such conditions: Between 46 and 54 degrees $0.43 per hour Celsius In excess of 54 degrees Celsius $0.56 per hour Where work continues for more than 2 hours in temperatures exceeding 54 degrees Celsius, FTMs shall be entitled to a 20 minute paid rest pause after every two hours work. The temperature shall be determined by the relevant Company supervisor after consultation with the FTM who claims the additional hourly allowance, at the time that the FTM becomes entitled to the allowance.
Hot Places. Working for more than 1 hour in the shade in places where the temperature is raised by artificial means to between 46.1 degrees Celsius and 54.4 degrees Celsius — the amount as set out in Item 18 of Table 2; in places where the temperature exceeds 54.4 degrees Celsius — the amount as set out in Item 19 of Table 2. Where work continues for more than 2 hours in temperatures exceeding 54.4 degrees Celsius, employees shall also be entitled to 20 minutes' rest after every 2 hours' work without deduction of pay. The temperature shall be decided by the xxxxxxx of the work after consultation with the employees who claim the extra rate.
Hot Places. Where an employee is working in the shade in a place where the temperature exceeds 54 degrees Celsius and where such work continues for more than one hour, the employee will be entitled to fifteen minutes rest after every one hours work without deduction of pay.
Hot Places. Employees required working for more than one hour in the shade in places where the temperature is raised by artificial means to between 46 degrees and 54 degrees Celsius shall be paid an allowance as given in Table 4, Clause 33, extra. When the extra rate is claimed by an Employee, the supervisor shall take the temperature at the place where the Employee is required to work.
Hot Places. (a) An Employee who is required by the Company to work for more than one hour in the shade in places where the temperature is raised by artificial means to:
(1) between 46 and 54 Celsius will receive 58 cents per hour extra;
(2) in excess of 54 Celsius will receive 72 cents per hour extra.
(b) The temperature will be determined by the supervisor after consultation with the Employees who claim the extra rate.
(c) Where work continues for more than two consecutive hours in temperatures exceeding 54 Celsius, Employees will be entitled to 20 minutes rest after every two hours work without deduction of pay.
(d) Employees who complete their full rostered shift, including rostered overtime, when the ambient temperature exceeds 46 °C during any part of the rostered shift will receive an extra 39 cents per hour for the duration of that rostered shift.

Any employee who is engaged to work in hot conditions continuously for a period greater than 2 hrs or spend greater in duration during the course of a standard shift shall receive a hot work allowance provided that once this machine or operation is so engineered to prevent the transfer of heat to the operator this allowance shall cease to be paid, when greater than 2 hours the payment shall be made for the whole shift First full pay period on or after 18th March 2005 First full pay period on or after 18th March 2006 First full pay period on or after 18th March 2007 Hot Places 68.25 cents per hour 71.66 cents per hour 75.24 cents per hour
Hot Places. Definition -“hot place” – If the average of temperatures over summer and winter is greater than 46°C. If a person is required to work under such conditions, existing site practices will apply. This includes provision of extra drinks, breaks and job rotations.
