Payroll Work Period. A. Shift Personnel - 24/48 For purposes of calculating overtime with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Federal Legislation which sets the minimum wage, overtime pay, equal pay, record keeping and child labor standards for covered employees. The applicable work period shall be a 28-days, with such personnel being compensated overtime pay at one and one-half times their regular rate of pay for all hours actually worked in excess of 212 during the 28-day work period, with the workweek commences at 07:31 a.m. Monday and ends at 07:30 a.m. Monday. All paid leave shall be considered hours worked when determining overtime.

The District uses a twenty-eight day “work period” for shift employees and a seven day work week Monday through Sunday for staff employees.
Payroll Work Period. The standard payroll work period shall begin at 12:01 a.m., Monday, and end two weeks later at midnight Sunday.
